Just when I thought things were finally over re NQT year, evil deputy said to me that she needed to talk to me about my NQT stuff today - she said she couldn't do it this afternoon as she was going on a course, but could do it tomorrow - I asked her when, and she said she didn't know - I've no idea what it's about, and am now sat here worrying again. :( I'm meant to be going out to the supply teacher's xmas do tomorrow and it's quite a way to travel, and I've got to be there for 5.30pm, so she'd better not insist on it being after school! At least tomorrow is a fairly easy day in terms of lessons.

That is inexcusable - my boss used to do it, until one day I bust into tears over it. I had to explain that it wasn't my tiny misedmeanour, but the worrying I'd been doing all day :mad::mad: Hugs for you :A

Greenbee - the fire, it could be because the wind is in a different direction and perhaps blowing a bit back down the chimney

Carlsberggal - I think your lamb shoulder would be better slow roasted than slow cookered so that the fat drains off

Sexym - big hugs love, I'm sure she can't do anything horrible now you've been told you've passed

Oh Toots - I'll have a bathroom star when you have a moment please

    • Soappie - thanks for the advice, should I put it on low for hours as I think (maybe/probably wrong) that it could be tough otherwise? So if I do that I would still be ok to add the veg at that time or pop them in later so they arn't burnt to a crisp/dried up? Deary me you can tell I haven't cooked this before at my grand age!! I am thinking as its 0.888 in KG (whatever that means!) on low for such as 150 electric mark for around 3/4 hours. Or shall I bung it in the freezer and forget about it?!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Pigpen - you will be pleased to know that we now have a Christmas Tree - but we can't decorate it yet as it's raining here and it is in the stand drying off. Don't want to put lights on a wet tree:eek:

Carlsb - stick it in a dish, cover it with foil and pop it the oven on gas mark 4, 180C for a couple of hours. Cook the veg seperately otherwise they'll get covered in lamb grease. If you want and you have it, stick a couple of sprigs of fresh rosemary on top at the start of cooking.
