    Afternoon all

Lady-L - hope you enjoy the show...

Kaz - the fudge looks good - I'd be interested in the recipe too - how long does it keep if it's not all snaffled up by thieving whatsit's?

No snow here but it's v. cold and cloudy. No rain either, but that may change in the next little while.

My little loft above my bedroom is in neat order and doesn't need tidying at all. I know, because I was up there just at the weekend getting my Christmas decs down....

So, what can I do this afternoon flying wise? I've already earned Monday's star:

Tuesday - bathroom, study and other grotty places!
    Level One
Clean the loo and the bath and the shower and the basins!

    Level Two
Clean out the bathroom cabinets.. throw out/charity shop all last years unused/unwanted smellies.
Clean windows, curtains & blinds etc
    Declutter and vacuum/mop floors
    Level Three
Wash bathmats/shower curtain and furry bog hats
Replace any sponges/flannels/toothbrushes etc that need it
throw out any empty bottles.. decant dribbles into fuller bottles

Wednesday ~ Master bedroom and Landing
    Level One

[STRIKE]Strip bedding, and wash it.. and get the bed remade.. before bed time! Change duvet cover etc too![/STRIKE] This always get done on Saturday

    Level Two
Vacuum floors in bedroom and landing!
Clear out and organise any large cupboards ou haven't done in a while.. I am fairly certain I recall someone mentioning a large untidy cupboard.. :p

Organise presents and cards to bed sent to those for whom they are intended.. ???? What does this gobbledegook mean anyone?

    Level Three
    Binbag dance
Empty and wash out all the bins
Replace any lights bulbs that need it, check smoke alarms, clean out any pets!
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Heating is on... washing is put away... need to get ready for my first work call (one has been cancelled already!)

hex - snow has stopped here, but a colleague has just left leicester for bournemouth as she doesn't want to get caught in all the weather she's hearing about!

Good afternoon all, DD's swimming lesson was cancelled so more time to fly.....after a cuppa and I have defrosted.
I think I missed a few achievments recently, sorry and CONGRATULATIONS xx

I have 2 questions.....When freezing the parboiled potatoes, how long can you freeze them for? Did some a LONG time ago and forgot about them and does it matter that I didn't put any oil on them.
And 2....Thanks for all the advice re the laptop...OH doesn't even know how to turn this one on so could I go for a cheaper acer or other model just dfor him to practice on??

OK that was really 3 questions but TIA xx

More ironing done during last call - one shirt, and a whole lot of other bits. I've got another listening-only call next, so I might even get to the bottom of it and be able to put more washing on soon!

    Buy family xmas cards
Wrap all the presents I’ve got
Buy DH another present – though goodness know what
Buy DD2 a “few bits” – her words as she wants mainly money
Make sure I’ve roughly spent the same on all 3 of them
Draw out money for DH’s DD for her xmas pressie – easy done as long as my bank doesn’t laugh out loud at me! Thank goodness DH gets paid on friday
[STRIKE]Pay credit card bill – just realised I’m late so with be charged £12 late fee!!! Am sooooo cross with myself[/STRIKE] Haha, rang B£rclay card I wasn't late!!
[STRIKE]Set up direct debit for said credit card[/STRIKE]

Need to try and book waxing – can do my legs but the bikini line is impossible to do now after my accident and my manky chrome elbow - forgotton she's shut on a wednesday
Clean car inside and out – may get DH to do that at the weekend!
Write last of friends xmas cards – have done all the postal cards already
Find e cards for those I’m sending this way – have no idea what sites are good
[STRIKE]Food shop[/STRIKE] - went to Mr T's for the bits we needed

Iron everything – less than a basket so is do-able though it’s all the fiddly horrible things to iron that I always leave!!!
Get boots to cobblers to stick soles back on, are coming undone
Go see parents – they go away on the 22nd for xmas, 1st time ever so that will be strange
Find out what time midwife appointment is on Tuesday so can inform work when I need to leave
Fill in next years calendar with birthdays etc – as I never remember to
[STRIKE]Sort out what I’m wearing for DH’s xmas do on Saturday[/STRIKE] same as I wore for my works do as it was new and even managed to get a few compliments. Then later on when I'd been to the loo and pulled my top down I was informed by Bev and Karen that my right nipple was nearly showing!!! LOL God I cringed but then said "wait till later could be my a£se next!!!!
[STRIKE]Throw myself on the sofa in a heap and stare blankly at the tv screen for at least an hour![/STRIKE] for about half an hour or so, nothing on so watched Jeremy Kyle and cringed all the way through it, my, they have no shame!!!!

What shall I do with the lamb shoulder I bought today that was on offer?

Oh dear, I really haven't done well today. Actually i haven't done anything off todays list ....yet! I have been shopping though and at this time of year that's no small task but it's so dreary outside you just want to curl up in front of the fire with a good (or not so good) film. We're going out tonight so I'm conserving my energy, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Was that the one with the twins??? How mank is that?

I can't believe it's only 4:30, it feel like it's 9! not doing too much flying today, am so congested I can't breathe. Was meant to go to a meeting at 3:30 but I cancelled and got someone to cover, it was snowing!

I'm trying to persuade DH to get the painting started but poor thing can't be bothered, he has been at work all week!

All bar one item of ironing done, so between this meeting and going out (salt scrub and manicure) I'll bung on a load of laundry. Also need to wash and dress in something slightly less unpleasant that grubby gym kit :o

Tree now has lights and decorations on. Stove is going nicely, but it does smell quite strongly of coal in the sitting room... not smoke, just the smell of coal fire... I'm not sure that it should
