i went shopping in my local tescos last night, and when i handed the coupons over...the young girl who was new.. called the supervisor over... to ask about the money off coupons... and the reply was... if the till will except them take them... regardless of duplicates as we get our money back and a handling fee.....so at the moment....no problems in my tescos........not going to say how much i had off, as last time i think i might have ruffled a few feathers... but i cant help it if my tescos will take everything....maybe next time it will be diff ( hope not ) but at the moment just going with the flow.... so to speak....Work to live= not live to work0

As a newbie to this, what exactly is their policy - and is it company wide or decided locally at each store? I've got some quickread vouchers on their way to me, and it would be great to be able to slip these in from time to time, but obviously without taking the mickey.
Hello billy bulldog, apologies just seen your post:
This is the text from Tesco HQ regarding their coupon policy.
"Thank you for your email. Any coupons, which display the Tesco logo, are Tesco specific. We only accept these if the products referred to on the coupons are purchased. This is because we negotiate savings with our suppliers on the condition that these actual products will be purchased.
With regard to coupons from brand name manufacturers, we are happy to accept one, even if you have not purchased the product. The coupon must be in date and Tesco must sell the item. If you present more than one identical coupon, then you must purchase the same number of products.
This also applies to coupons printed from the Internet. These will only be accepted at the discretion of the Store Manager. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to explain our policy."
Therefore, if you have 5 felix cat food vouchers, but did not buy the cat food, then you should only present 1 of these vouchers to get money off, they must be in date and not Tesco specific (if they are you must buy the item). So if you had say 5 non-identical vouchers you could use them all, in theory, although each and every store and cashier can vary as to their interpretation of the above policy.
With regards to quick reads, my store has refused to accept them anymore and cashiers warned of job loss and disclipinary action if they accept them. Other stores I believe are still accepting them so worth trying.
Hope that helps - Welshy xI am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL
