It seems you may have to risk a neg here. That's a small price to pay to avoid the aggrevation he could cause you.

he stated that he thought paying in cash would be better because he had neg feedback but have told him i will only use paypal i dont want to meet, my listing does not say i accept cash and if thats how he wanted to pay then he should have asked me before bidding ended

how long does ebay say i have to wait for payment?
figuring i wait till then to relist the item

I would meet them and take cash for the phone. But then again I'm a bloke. If you're worried, offer to meet them at a busy time (lunch time) in a local town centre cafe or something. Meet them inside, and don't give them the phone until they hand over the cash (not even to look at). The only thing is if the money is fake or stolen.

But definately don't do anything that you don't feel comfortable with.

If you do decide to meet the buyer (which I wouldn't advise doing!) definately take someone with you. Don't go alone.

  • DO NOT meet this person. as someone who has been attacked in a busy town centre DO NOT risk it. passing 'good citizens' assume its a domestic and you wont get any help if something nasty happens! trust me on this one.

also can i just say i was once a -1 feedback rating now im almost +200 but when it comes to mobile phone sales as someone above said 'if it smells like a fish it prbably is a fish lol' like that one!
