Okay, who is ready for the big push tomorrow?

I want you to spend a little while tonight preparing for it, get all those nasty little jobs out of the way tonight so you can get straight on with either the last room or that very nasty job you haven't felt up to tackling.

So a quick whizz round tidying up tonight girls, get that washing up done, worktops wiped down and something out of the freezer that is either easy to cook or will go in the slow cooker first thing in the morning.

Then tomorrow get out of bed and make it! Yes I know that goes against the grain with some of you but sometimes when you come downstairs and the house looks tidy and there isn't anything that looks like it really needs doing it is too easy to sit there drinking coffee and getting nothing done.

So make that bed, it's the one little job that will ease you slowly into working for the rest of the day. Don't forget, regular breaks, plenty of water to drink.

    Good luck everyone.

    Well I had a day off today:D

Had my rising three year old grandson, so I am never-the-less knackered!! But he's worth it!

What was especially good today was I could whip round the house in under an hour before he came. Might even get up the energy for a half hour challenge in my bedroom later. If not this weekend then certainly Monday I'll be back on the wagon to complete the house.

Okay moggins you posted while I was typing! (very slow typist, and I was talking on phone at same time) Yeah alright I'll do it tomorrow. The cupboard under the stairs! Real danger zone, could get attacked by something, might never be seen again!
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Well thats me all done, kitchen scrubbed, freezers defrosted, hoovered and mopped right through, bit of shopping done, washing hung out, brought in and folded, I even managed to mow the lawns as well :j
I just want to thank everyone for the support, especially moggins :T
Ok so I might not have done as much as most of you, but I've done a lot more than I would normally do in a week, I havent been tempted to stray (much)
On monday I'm gonna start sorting out some cupboards and drawers, it'll be much easier to have a clear out when the house is clean and tidy.
Have a great weekend everyone, and try to relax a bit, I wont tell moggins :rotfl:

lol..Il ove this, it reminds me of school, being told 'you've done well', but could do better

Tomorow my o.h is working, and he doesn't normally on a saturday so I will use it to -
do the external door (we always overlook it, but it matters!)
    finish off the bathroom,
Clean out kitchen cupboards, and as going write a list of spices/herbs/condiments we are short on
hoover the hall, and wax the floorboards/skirting boards
    Wash the sofa covers
Cull the book shelves (this will be the hardest! I hate giving books away, even if they are not that great)

I'll be coming back here tomorrow to see what I am actually managing ..hehe

    Great going everyone..
I keep thinking. after this big thorough clean it wil be easy to maintain..

Oh it's all gone wrong :o I worked all day yesterday (dunno how people cope with a full time job and housework lol) then cut mr troo's hair and that was all I could cope with. Going to a wedding today so I'll run the hoover round downstairs and put 2 loads of washing out and that's it. The lounge WILL be done on monday.
