Update Time - snack time post school pick-up;)
- [STRIKE]general tidy in everyroom as I come to it[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hoover/dust/windows x 2 bedrooms[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Clean bathroom (incl. hoovering carpet - too cold without one  )[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hoover/dust stairs/landing/hallway (tiny, but always the dirtiest)[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hoover/dust/windows - livingroom[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hoover/[/STRIKE]wipe down kitchen
- [STRIKE]Quick mop of livingroom / kitchen /hall floor[/STRIKE]
- Still have some dishes to do
- Shops for milk, spread & bananas (post putting daughter into school)
- Ironing - didn't have time to finish yesterday
- [STRIKE]Play some more of my game. Okay so it's not essential, but I'll play it during my lunch break with a timer set, and this time I will stop when the timer goes off :rotfl:[/STRIKE]
Also tided up the garden after wind damage  Put washing out on the line that still wasn't quite dry from the other day (mainly jeans so understandable) and the kitchen floor was cleaned on my hands-and-knees (Yes, you heard me right mother .... me on my hands and knees cleaning the kitchen floor PROPERLY instead of it usual quick mop over.:p:rotfl: ) I would have done the livingroom the same way except a) My knees wouldn't take anymore kneeling
b) it was time to go and pick DD up from school. :rotfl:
Right, play time until ... hmm..... 4.30 while I have my drink I think, then I'll get on with tea and wash that last batch of dishes.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
What causes 80% of arguements in my house is o.h coming home and maoning that dishes are in the sink.
he ignores the laundry/ clean windows/ hoovering/ trecking to recycling banks /generally mothering that I have done..
for him it's always whats in the sink that matters..
''tied to the kitchen sink'' probably came from somewhere..lol..Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -

Finished:T . I've done as much paperwork as I can and put the college and school work into bedrooms. I have to accept that completing all paperwork is a days job in itself and can't be done in conjunction with a whole room tidy too. The rest of the downstairs isn't so bad, so I might be able to do that over weekend if not will have to be left till next week when DD isback in nursery.
Moggins-like the idea of the album, will look for one.:A
I've polished and vac'd, cleaned French windows and wiped walls down. I have left the drawers that have computer discs and PC access in them for DH to sort out because [STRIKE]he is getting a lot of me time watching footie and can help out a bit more[/STRIKE]he is better at anything technical than me.
I came across £18 in money off vouchers whilst tidying:o . DH refuses to use them:rolleyes: , so I'll make sure I do the grocery shopping instead next week
Haven't done any tea, but DD is fed at nursery, nan will make DS something and I'm off out for a meal with a friend :j so DH can sort himself out, which means he will [STRIKE]order a takeaway[/STRIKE]make something healthy and tasty.
Off to pick DD from nursery now.

Silly question...but when you give a quick 'once over' to your kitchen/bathroom every day do you still use cleaner? I'm worried about using up my cleaner and using too many products in the house. BTW, will buy stardrops when my current stock runs out!starlight wrote:Mushypeas. I have a spray bottle of water with the tiniest bit of neat dettol in it which I use for everday quick cleans, my friend uses washing up liquid in a bit of water in the same way so that might be a good idea?
Thanks starlight - great ideaAny one else do something similar?

2 loads of washing done and now on the airer, bathroom spotless and gleaming!!
More junk chucked out!
Boyf will be back from work soon so will end my challenge there for today but will continue tomorrow. Am borrowing boyf's mum's dyson so massive hoover everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next thing tomorrow is under the futon! Should be fun! lol!!!
Storage is a massive problem for me, will be taking a look in town for some ideas tomorrow. Think I may get some of those plastic boxes and they can then go in my now spacious airing cupboard!!!
I can't keep towels in my airing cupboard as they always smell musty so will use it as a storage area instead. Note storage not junk!!!
Will be back tomorrow!!!

I hear stardrops calling me! I was v. excited the other day when I finally spotted them in a supermarket, wasn't a local one so will have to keep hunting.
6 days on and my kitchen, bathroom and lounge are still clean and tidy (ok...I admit...I'm still ignoring the dusty skirting boards) But I still feel proud of me :j Thanks for helping me achieve this much.
