Update Time as I'm having my lunch :D
    • [STRIKE]general tidy in everyroom as I come to it[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Hoover/dust/windows x 2 bedrooms[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Clean bathroom (incl. hoovering carpet - too cold without one  )[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Hoover/dust stairs/landing/hallway (tiny, but always the dirtiest)[/STRIKE]
    • Hoover/dust/windows - livingroom
    • Hoover/wipe down kitchen
    • Quick mop of livingroom / kitchen /hall floor
    Also
    • Still have some dishes to do :o
    • [STRIKE]Shops for milk, spread & bananas (post putting daughter into school)[/STRIKE]
    • Ironing - didn't have time to finish yesterday
    • Play some more of my game. Okay so it's not essential, but I'll play it during my lunch break with a timer set, and this time I will stop when the timer goes off :rotfl:
As you can see upstairs is done :j including dusting the skirting boards with my new Flash duster (the extendable one - reduced to clear in Asda the other day ;) and my new toy :o:rotfl: ). There is now a collection of muck/dust at the bottom of the stairs but that will be hoovered up when I hoover the livingroom after lunch as I brush them rather than hoovering. 1 batch of dishes is also done and just the pans still to do :o They'll get done when I've had my lunch. ;) I've also had a sort out of DD's "gallery" on the fridge & understairs-cupboard-door, now they only host this half-terms work ;) Everything else is filed away :T

Right, now it's my play time until ... hmm..... 12.30 I think :D Laters

I've done the kitchen this morning, took me 3.5 hours, flipping heck! I didn't think it was as bad as it was, the cupboards were a disgrace, I thought I must tell you about a new product I bought from Lakeland "Worktop Wonder", If you have a black dull worktop like mine, which had a few scratches on, this product actually puts a protective film over the worktop, leaves it very shiny and can't see the scratches, it costs approx £7.50 but the aerosol tin would last I would say approx a year. Fantastic it looks like a new worktop, off now to tackle the downstairs loo and possibly make a start on the lounge. Where's my stardrops .................

Someone pleeeeeaaaase give me a virtual kick up the bum..i have had a bar of dairy milk for lunch whilst sitting at the p.c (bad idea!) and can't face getting on with my cleaning.

I'm sure it's related to the weather..when the sun is streaming in it really energises me, as it was yesterday and this morning, but now it's all dull and I can't get up and off!

    Hiya all

Silly question...but when you give a quick 'once over' to your kitchen/bathroom every day do you still use cleaner? I'm worried about using up my cleaner and using too many products in the house. BTW, will buy stardrops when my current stock runs out!

Mushypeas. I have a spray bottle of water with the tiniest bit of neat dettol in it which I use for everday quick cleans, my friend uses washing up liquid in a bit of water in the same way so that might be a good idea?

I have now scrubbed the tiles..top to bottom, got the grout actually looking white and everything is gleaming, also put the remains of the laundry in the wash and the bathroom bin is soaking ready for a good clean...but that only serves to make the grubby bath/shower/sink/loo/floor look even worse, so I will be off as soon as I've finished my cuppa! lol

eek I'm struggling today:cool: . A friend called unexpectedly so didn't get started till 11am, thankfully have got till 5.30 to get done.

I knew the paperwork would be tough but didn't realise how much I'd let it pile up. So far I have come across a wedding invite we should have RSVP'd to last month:o . DH is ringing the bridegroom later to see if we are still going. Also found a receipt for dental work that I should have filled westfield form in for to claim charge back and have missed the deadlinefor claiming last week:mad: . thankfully it was only for £5.

Coming across a lot of my college work, but though course has finished don't think I should get shut of the work till I actually get my exam results.

Also there is a lot of DS school work, top marks in spelling test certificate, that sort of thing. Until school ends and I get his years work I feel I can't decide what to and what not to keep.

Have resorted to having to put things in bags just labelled 'college work' or 'school acheivements' and put in bedrooms till a later date. I don't like doing this as I feel I've jsut shuffled stuff around instead of sorting but don't really want to throw away in June and then discover I would have preferred to keep it.
