I bought these last time they were around, not so fantastic to eat on their own but I put them into lots of dishes and they gave a mild heat.

    Great on pizza!!!

As found at B&M Rawtenstall, Old El Paso sliced Jalapenos 1840/1000g, which sons reckon means a kilo of jalapeno.

For those fighting off colds, wanting a redhot bite, as a present (not a bet!), for conversion into other chilli related products (thought to be sliced & pickled or in brine thus probably not suitable for dehyration)

Good for use up to one month after opening...

I bought one on Friday and dehydrated the drained and rinsed contents. Draining did take a lot of the seeds out but at 99p per kilo I think it's worth the risk. They will be great to add to chillies and bland casseroles. Will keep you informed!

Slough B&M today had lots of 5 pack Walkers deep ridge salt & vinegar crisps for 19p (best before last week but less than 4p a bag I'm not complaining!) and space raiders pickled onion with short BBE date 10 pack for 49p.

I also buy a jar of their mixed nut butter every time I go in - peanut, cashew and hazlenut mixed together, lovely and only 45p.

Their no added sugar peanut butter in a larger jar is also great value at 59p as I used to pay £1.79 for the Sun Pat equivalent in Tesco. The dog loves a wee bit of this as a treat and I'm also very happy to eat it :)

Edited to add: am also addicted to the Lion Bars and white Lion Bars that are 29p or 4 for £1.

No bargains yet - but B&M are recruiting staff in Didcot - so expect to see a store opening there soon!
