My local (Doncaster York Road) has a large clearance section now - approx half the length of the store on the end wall, past the toys.

Don't know if this is national or not but worth looking out for.

My husband (who would eat baked beans on Christmas Day if he was let) loves Bonners beans, more than other famous named baked beans.

There was none in stock a couple of weeks ago in the Southport and Ormskirk stores. Found 3 odd tins in the Ormskirk store last Saturday.

Hope they're not discontinued or changing the manufacturer. Just wondering if they're still being stocked in other B and M stores???

I've heard that the 'Bonners' brand is just the supermarkets 'finest' type range, repackaged. I saw Bonners beans in Chadwell Heath branch a couple of weeks ago. My hubby really liked the BBQ beans.

Thank you. Now you've mentioned about the "finest" I vaguely remember reading about this. :o Wish I knew which supermarket brand they recently are.

They used to sell a Bonners tin of Chicken in white sauce which also contained sweetcorn, peas and small pieces of potato. It was gorgeous. If any body spots this in a supermarket, please can they pm me. Thank you.
