Thornton's Class selection, 274g I think - double layer anyway £1.00 at B and M Yorkgate, Belfast. They had loads yesterday. BBE April 2014 but several boxes have been quality tested by work colleagues and family and all happy. Might be worth checking other stores as they are marked at £1.99 but scanning at £1.00.

can report that the lyons ground coffee is as good as any other except a very expensive one so great for every day drinking. Also the 10 for 19p cappuccino tastes lovely. cheers!

We bought Tuc Cheese Sandwich (the Tuc crackers with the cheese in the middle) for 59p a packet, in the Ormskirk store today. (Bb date 16th July.)

Also bought Dr. Oetker (blue) designer icing for 59p. It's a squeezy tube type package and it has 4 plastic icing nozzles with it. (Bb date end of July.)

A while ago I was telling my friend about the Sistema soup mugs that have a clip on lid with a steam vent . My friend told me that she'd bought one similar in b and m and kept going back to try and purchase more, but could never find any. I was pleased to find some today and purchased a soup mug for 99p and a microwave bowl with handle (also with clip on lid with vent) for £1.49.

Sistema soup mugs are brilliant; well worth buying, as are other Sistema items. The only one that's not a good idea is their porridge bowl: it 'explodes' all over the place in the microwave!!

The items I bought in b and m are not actually Sistema, but similar. I heated a tin of Ravioli in the bowl and that didn't explode. I bet porridge took you a while to clean up. :D

(I bought a Sistema rice steamer from tkmax. Only 2 weeks later my microwave stopped working. Bought a new microwave oven, not thinking that it's not as tall as my old one. My rice steamer won't fit in it.)

A pyrex dish plus plastic food cover works just fine for cooking rice a la microwave.

As found at B&M Rawtenstall, Old El Paso sliced Jalapenos 1840/1000g, which sons reckon means a kilo of jalapeno.

For those fighting off colds, wanting a redhot bite, as a present (not a bet!), for conversion into other chilli related products (thought to be sliced & pickled or in brine thus probably not suitable for dehyration)

Good for use up to one month after opening...

I bought these last time they were around, not so fantastic to eat on their own but I put them into lots of dishes and they gave a mild heat.
