Which Ribena was this? Was it the original blackcurrant or the disgusting toothkind or sugar free version please?

The original Blackcurrant - but the SEL said Real/Lite. There was only the one original on the shelf - which I collared!
This was at Shepton Mallet B & M Bargains. I will check on Tuesday if they have restocked.
What I now need is cheap Captain Morgan dark rum or similar.:D
  • At my local they had travel pillows, travel alarm clocks and bum bags all down to 10p. Not sure if it's national or just local but it was the r@wtenstall store.
Also had a giant mug in a box for 10p :O Alright as a stocking filler for christmas next year :D

    Just realised what you've posted.

You mean to say after all that you didn't actually buy one and try it

Which branch did you find it in?

Unfortunately my local doesn't have an alcohol licence - so that's a no go.

Trying to find the nearest that does to see if there is any in stock.

The XOTQ was at the Hemel Hempstead store, and no I did not buy any because I don't like vodka and I don't like brandy. I thought other MSE'RS might like it though. I hope you find some.

Managed to get the last 3 bottles in 1 branch just before Xmas - SEL said £2.99 but it was ONLY £1.99 at the till

    It's delicious.

As for not liking Vodka and/or Brandy, I'd say most people would not be able to detect the presence of either, at least not from the smell or taste of XOTQ.

I'd suggest most people would more likely complain that it's just a little bit sweet.

ICE COLD straight from the fridge (or even an hour or two in the freezer) over ice is lovely, add a squeeze and twist of lemon or lime and it's even better.

Hope to find more of it as soon as I can.
Will make a really super summer "cocktail style" drink on a hot day to accompany some barbecued food if you don't want a cold beer or such like.

Quoia - I got a bottle of this just before Xmas too but haven't tried it yet. I am being a bit thick here but do you mean you have it undiluted? I was going to mix mine with lemonade.

    Thanks

454g Tate & Lyle Black treacle 89p today. Looks like it's from Halloween as it's called "Trick or Treacle" and has pumpkin design on the tin, bbe April 14. Also found Quick Milk 5 pack for 39p - these are the straws with the beads in them which flavour the milk as you suck (used to be called "Magic Straws"). And finally, Kraft Light reduced fat Honey and Mustard vinaigrette dressing 235ml for 39p, bbe 29/3/14.
  • Hoops and crosses 6 pack crisps salt and vinegar 49p
7 pack hula hoops (smoky bacon, roast chicken or salt & vinegar) 79p
  • This is a very refreshing 2% lager with lemon. £3.50 @ Tesco, £3.00 @ Morrison's - only £1.49 @ B & M (Shepton Mallet) I bought some last week, liked it, so stocked up today.
