jeannie, As someone else said above the £250 for 3 years service is actually on the VW website/brochure - I think you have to have bought the car between July and December this year to qualify for it.
I certainly wouldnt have paid for it if I had to travel 100 miles across the country to have it serviced

That was why I raised the question - sometimes it is the dealer and sometimes the manufacturer that offers these er, so called 'good deals'.Genie

you do not have to go to a main dealer at all. I have previously checked our Nissan dealers law department and as long as you go to a VAT registered garage and they stamp your book you are in business. Try Kwik fit - services start from around £70.Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 20160

Kwik fit?? Are you for real? By all means go to an independent - but please check them out to make sure they know what they are doing.Genie

Kwik fit = poor workmanship, poor quality and expensive. I think that sums Kwik-fit up!0
