Go round the green binbags. Turn right at the mouldy George Elliot, forward, forward, and turn left....at the dead badger

    A cheap headline.

    A cut.

    Actual cost?

    Tiny I'd imagine.

The cost may be small, but it's still a cost when they are in dire need of revenue.

I didn't realise there was such a thing as bingo duty, but seriously, surely those non essentials are the absolute last thing they should be cutting in these times....especially as they increase NI.

Height of stupidity if you ask me. I know it's a small detail, but just cannot believe they are cutting such a tax when bingo is such a non essential for the population and NI, stamp duty, VAT etc goes up, essentials to us all.

    Must be a proper reason.

    And what is bingo duty?

It's like national service for OAP's, just gambling based.

Doubt if they would have blown as much money in the last 10 years.
