I'm watching this too - what a great shame that the Chancellor:
1) Missed out 43 paragraphs of the pre-Budget speech when it was sent over to Vince Cable
2) That the Labour benches emptied when Cable stood up with the Prime Minister leaving (as far as I could see).
The NI increase is absolutely and truly appalling - 32% marginal tax rate, VAT up of course, stamp duty holiday finishes, and NI up. Labour just don't understand.
Budget 'only good for Bingo and boilers'.
