  • Pap - well done :T on losing 1lb. It is another step towards your target and not to be belittled.

Hope B is better soon Sally - mine always used to through funny turns just before Christmas and I put it down to the excitement.

Signed all the Christmas cards and now need to fire up the infuriatingly slow pc to do a service sheet for the church nativity.

I had a nap this afternoon too Sally....was lovely.

DH is supposed to be being taken out tonight - some of his old work friends got in touch to arrange to pick him up for a few drinks, they were supposed to call today to finalise what time - but they haven't  If they don't bother getting in touch I shall be soooooo angry.

I still haven't made my burger mix....I really should get a wriggle on.

Pap, it could just be that the dogs refuse to be walked - our old dog used to have to be literally pushed out into the garden to do her business if it was raining heavily. I once took her out to the PO and it started raining on the way, when I came out she'd squeezed herself under a bush and was glaring at me as if I was trying to drown her.

I've done some comfort shopping, although most of it was what's on my list of things for the house - I've decided to get as much as I can with the money I'd saved for the OU, so I don't just fritter it. So I've got a duvet cover for the one in the living room, some new towels (why I let ex talk me into bright yellow ones I don't know) and a light shade for my bedroom. The rest of what I got was food, so along with tonight's tesco delivery I'm sorted for a while.

Thanks Sally, I'm really pleased about it all. Hopefully I can get everything bought and built by early in the new year and then everything will all be in place and nice, and I'll have the carer and everything, so I can start concentrating on me and moving forward.
