Jayne - am loving Pixel in the tree :D A most unusual tree ornament I must say!! Why not go the whole hog and put some tinsel round it's collar?!

Because every time I put her collar on, she takes it off, and I mean unfastens it properly. I may need to get her a padlock as an ID tag!
Zippychick, now that you've resized the photo, please would you explain slowly and carefully how I could do that in future?

    Hi all
just popped in for a quick look round, weather has been lovely here today not warm but nice and sunny

Had a busy day one way and another, cleaned windows this AM, looked at the ironing and decided it could wait there's still room for more in there:rolleyes:
got a couple of loads done in WM but it did'nt dry , so will put it out again tomorrow.

Vac'ed through then went to shops to return a top, picked up a few bits and pieces that MIL needed and some stocking fillers, went into Poundland and they had some lovely shoulder bags like basket's in a lovely mulberry colour just right for the girls so got a couple for MIL to give them when they come up on the 19th.

Went out for a late Lunch with friends so the braised beef went back in the fridge to cook tomorrow.

Must get the pressys wrapped, and still have a few cards to write.

Hope all the poorlys are feeling better now
Off for a :coffee: and a read through

Aaww, Pixel is lovely! Somewhere I've got a photo of our old cat Stanley (as in fat, not flat...) in the Christmas tree after it had been taken down & was in the garage awaiting the binmen's collection...will try & post it tomorrow.

purpleivy - I LOVE hot blancmange. Do you make it from scratch or using a packet? If you make it from scratch care to share the receipe? And stay away from the chocolate - it will be soooooo much nicer with the peanut butter squares :D

600ml milk of choice, I made up powder.
    40g cornflour
3 tablespoons sugar (serving spoon, not measuring type!)
    1 tbsp cocoa

    Make as you would custard.

You can adjust the cocoa and sugar to taste. These amounts make it quite chocolatey and reasonably sweet. For me I would prefer less sugar, but it was for ds as well.

Going to xmas lunch thing at my old w*rk and then to see dfriend's newish baby. dbro and dsis-in-law are due today too - yay - this one will be the 8th of 10 babies coming into my life between the middle of summer and the end of feb - the feb one is my dgd-to-be - lucky me!

At the end of my tether re Xmas - started to do the online food shop only to find that the nearest delivery date from Mr T is 16th december - yikes! I am setting up Crisis the next two weekends and working right up to xmas eve so it's going to be a matter of picking up bits after w*rk I think. Oh well t'is the season for me to be a total stress-head as per usual.

    Evening All

I have been in the foulest mood since I got up this morning...disturbed sleep + achey hip + hormonal tendencies + inconsiderate teenagers = one screaming raging banshee of a mother before 8am

I have calmed down ...a little :D I sat and wrote the christmas cards out while watching Home Alone and it helped de-stress alot!

Dinner was jacket spuds with beans and cheese and DH had pie and chips. No clue whats for tomorrow but I'm working half a day as DS2 has physio and I;ve a few MS jobs to do around that so I'll maybe just pick something quick up while I'm out and about.- I have a tub of chinese curry sauce in the fridge so maybe see if I can pick up some whoopsied chicken breast.....

I think I might get sorted for an early night and hope the grumpiness disappears with a decent sleep! I dont like being moody but i do it so well :rotfl:...just chewed DS1's ear a bit for his trouble :D He slipped at work today and knocked himself out on a machine....when he came round the told him to take his 45 minute lunch break and then asked how he was - he said he felt a bit woozy still and they told him to take it easy but get back to work as he wouldn't be able to go home..... You see when he told me, I was for killing dead things!!! If it wasn't for the fact it would embarrass him I'd have been up that place knocking them out...see how they like it!!....o0o0o0o0o and breathe!

    I need chocolate.....

    Course darlin.

Click on the picture and you will see more options and menus come up

At the top left you will see an option which says resize - click that and it will bring up a wee drop down menu of different sizes

Click Medium - it will say "you are about to rezixe this pic" . Click ok

Then at the bottom right , click "post"!

Try that and see how she works xxxx
