Hello from me,I've not posted for a while due to this and that-mainly my aunty being very ill, she's still in hospital but its not looking good. Also DS1 is a bit depressed,he found out last week his ex is leaving the house they rented and wants him to shift some stuff. She wouldnt let him in to move everything when they first split in late summer, but its a different story now she has to clear the house. So there are currently 3 massive boxes in our lounge that he fetched yesterday, and more to come on Sunday,I think.Just being back in their house has set him back and stirred the hurt feelings up as he does still think the world of her.I hate seeing him like this.

I don't know where the stuff is going to go,and I wanted to have a good clean so I can get the tree up etc.

On the Os front,I bought my turkey yesterday from the market-its massive. So much so that I've cut the legs off before freezing it.I cooked one leg yesterday so we'll have turkey and leek pie tonight.

To anyone who needs one here is a hug.gif ,I've not caught up since last weekend, and doubt I ever will,so sorry for not being more personal.
I do like both of Tru's pick me ups though.;)
Sorry about the DHs job ,Hester.

Got another mouse last night. Going to try and dust the bit under the actual door to see if that is where they're coming in.

Trying to do some clearing up, will leave sewing till I can concentrate a bit harder. Urgent need to get some Christmas cards written soon.

Tis done but makes no difference.

The farm we got them from said to build their run 3 feet high as they wouldn't be able to get out of that and not to bother clipping their wings. But they got out the first day so we clipped the wings and they got out again.
I don't mind them geting out of the run as they are free ranging anyway but the nesting in a tree thing is a bit ridiculous. :o
Only I could have super strength chooks. :D

    Afternoon everyone.
Busy day but not much achieved  Had to take DS to Drs as his eyes were hurting him and he keeps having nosebleeds. Turns out he's got conjunctivitis and sinus infection. The lads been so poorly the last two weeks, hope this is the last for him before christmas. Sadly putting his eye drops in is tantamount to me trying to murder him listening to the noise he was making :o DD now brewing a nice chesty cold too.......they'd both better be well by Christmas......
Got piece of pork in SC, vacced downstairs and mopped floors - thats as much as DS will let me do

Bargainbird - no orders please! Its taken me too long to do DD's name, couldn't fit in 3 more before Christmas ;)

Hester - Hus to you and you H - that's just pants how they've treated him

Aussie - at your poor pooch! OUCH!!!!!!!!

Tru - I will have a double please :D Barcardi and coke is my fave tipple drink.gif

    Owen - Welcome :j

Sorry for any typing errors am doing this one handed as am having to cuddle DS at same time.
Watched Kirsties Homemade Christmas last night, on again tonight. Quite enjoyed it, made me feel festival in a nice homely way :D

Have a good day OS or not. Hugs to those that need them.

    Afternoon all.

    Happy Birthday to nmlc’s DS.

Hester that is so unfair! Can they really do that, with no proper explanation as to why he’s “unsuitable”?

Lowesy paws duly crossed for your DH.

Cranky is it safe for the local tom-cats to come out of hiding yet?:rotfl:

    Welcome to the Daily, Owens.

Tru, a Bl00dy Mary for me please, but with Tabasco instead of Worcester sauce.;)

We got all the rest of the Yule cards printed out and written last night :T and Mr LW took them with him this morning to post on his way to w*rk. Mr LW was really good and did most of the writing, with me dictating the addresses to him from my Excel spreadsheet. Whew! That's that rotten job out of the way! He also stepped up to the plate and put the decs up. We don't have many, but he likes to make a token effort.:p

OS-wise, I've had yet another blitz on the latest batch of cobwebs. Don't spiders ever run out of silk? I don't mind sharing the house with them, but I wish they'd stop making the place look like a set from a Vincent Price movie!

As for dins tonight - I think there may still be some really big spuds in the basket; if so, I'll do them in their jackets with some cheese and onion.

I hope everyone's having a good Wednesday; ((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need one today; especially Rosyred - sorry to hear about your Aunt, and hope DS1 feels a little more cheerful soon.
