to be fair if poor kirsty was in my front room right now she would prob fall in her furance - i am sorting the branches on my wilkinsons pink feather tree! I could not resist, it is only tiny and for my spare room which is our designated PINK room (DB has to contain it into 1 room LOL) x

Is it just me or does she moan a bit?! She seems to be always saying theirs is better than hers, the other lady was better at icing at her (well she would be!) etc.

Surely the whole point is so it looks homemade. If she wants it perfect, shouldn't she just buy it?

Totally agree Freaky. Most of my pressies this year are going to consist of mince pies (best recipe ever on this forum), and I am going to make a song and dance about the fact I made them, wrap them up in boxes and bows etc, not try to make them look like shop ones!!! I am sure she would hate my Christmas style LOL - pink and Disney- she said her tree was a style free zone but it does not seem to be!!!

  • i am so glad i made this thread lol i had this running commentry in my head and i was starting to think i was just being mean!

Is it just me, then that thinks you're being mean  You didn't have to watch the whole lot:
Kirstie you better get the hampers out in the next 15 minutes or I will give up on you

I like Kirstie. I might not follow all her ideas, but her series gave me plenty of ideas that I could use ;)

I've not seen this programme yet, but will watch the recording later, and probably enjoy it :D

Penny I probably am being mean but I doubt she frequents these boards. I have probably said meaner things to celebs on Twitter!

I sincerely hope you do enjoy it - I hate typing as there is no tone but I really really do!! I just enjoyed having this thread along side!! She certainly inspired me to get my house in order for Christmas, but more to better her than copy her. She did have some really lovely ideas, she has style taste and is certainly more creative than me, so I really hope it does help you. My only gripe is she disguises all this as money saving.

Let us know what you think when you watch it x

I liked the saltdough idea. I might try that with my godson - it sounds like fun!

Her house was to die for though, wasn't it? Mine's a messy little terrace, and by the time I get the decorations up it will look like a charity shop itself lol!
