    Credit Card

I used my clubcard credit card for the first time yesterday.

Can anyone tell me how the points show up please?

I understand you get 5 points for every £4 spend (4 from Tesco and 1 from Personal Finance)

Nothing showed up on my till receipt, just the normal points for using my clubcard.

I assume the 5 points for £4 spend is in addition to the normal 1 point for £1 on the clubcard.

    Any clarification would help.

    Thanks

They will appear on your 'quarterly' Clubcard statement (think the box heading is called 'finance').:A

Hi, could someone please explain to me quickly what recycling the ink cartridges involves (e.g. where to recycle, how many extra points etc). If some kind soul could help me so that I don't have to read back over 50-odd pages that would be great. Thank youuuuuuuuuu xx

here's the info from the tesco website for you:

    Inkjet Cartridge Recycling
You can also earn Green Clubcard Points for recycling your inkjet cartridges. And with 30 million being thrown away in the UK every year we’re discarding precious resources. In fact what we throw away in ink cartridges alone takes 1,425,000 litres of oil to produce! Recycle them with Tesco and we’ll give you 100 Green Clubcard Points for each one or you can choose to donate £1 to Marie Curie Cancer Care. Either way, the environment still ends up a winner.
Simply pick up a Freepost envelope in store, or go to www.therecyclingfactory.com to request an envelope.
*Please note: although all inkjet cartridges will be recycled, points/donations can only be given for cartridges that work in certain printers. See if your cartridge qualifies.

Thanks, I know the 1 point per £4 will appear under finance, what about the other 4 points?

Hi - check out which inkjets can be recycled though.
They don't take absolutely anything - follow the URL in the other post for the list.

not having the time to read 500+ posts I'll just mention that when you re-use a plastic bag, any make, for your shopping Tesco will give you 1 point. So each bag you re-use has the same effect as spending another £1. The number of bags you may use "must be reasonable in view of the items you are purchasing"

I always find they give you a few more points too. Last week I used 6 bags but they gave me 8 points, the week before I used 5 and they gave me 10 points.
