  • Hey everyone

Sorry, I've read through here, but can't see an obvious answer........after shopping with tescos for a while, I'm going back to Sainsburys (prefer their food on certain things!)

After being so used to tesco vouchers(!), I don't seem to be able to find any points / vouchers for sainsburys, either extra nectar points or just money off........

Do neither Sainsburys or Nectar do vouchers for online Sainsburys shopping? I have my card registered with sanisburys online, so get "normal" points on shopping, but was wondering if I'd be able to pick up any bonus points!!

    Anyone?

    Thanks :)

    Remember the MoneySaving mantras!

    IF YOU'RE SKINT......
Do I need it? Can I afford it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?

    IF YOU'RE NOT SKINT......
Will I use it? Is it worth it? Can I find it cheaper anywhere else?

  • If you buy a £10 Debenhams gift card from Sainsburys, you will get triple points. Paying for it with a Nectar or Sainsburys credit card would get an additional £10 worth of points. If you then spend the gift card at Debenhams in store or online, using the double or triple points voucher that you normally receive with your statement you should end up with £70 worth of points for £10 spent.

If you were to return the items to Debenhams, receiving a new gift card to the value, you could probably go back and spend the new gift card and receive another lot of points, again these could be doubled or tripled with another voucher from your statement.

All of the above is subject to the various t' & c's, of course, but a quick look through hasn't shown any barriers.

If I switch to EDF Energy using the moneysupermarket site, it promises me £30 cashback for doing so. Do I then still qualify for the Nectar points or not ?
