  • Hi,

I'm quite new to getting bonus points vouchers with my Nectar statement, so sorry if this appears obvious to everyone else, but...

if my voucher says "500 bonus points when you spend 500 or more points in store" (at Debenhams), how exactly does one "spend 500 or more points" and does one just take this coupon there???

Surely one spends £££s and *earns* points?

    Thanks
    mousy
  • Anyone who if EDF are offering cashback for submitting your meter reading online or do you just get points. As saw in one of the earlier posts.

Have you read it right, does it not say something like spend £50 and get 500 nectar bonus points, yes when you come to use the voucher you hand it to the cashier and it will get sent to nectar who will then add the points to your account

No it doesn't. It says "500 bonus points when you spend 500 or more points in store" and on the back in the rules it says "Hand this coupon & your Nectar card when making a purchase using 500 or more Nectar points & 500 points will be added to your Nectar account within 28 days"

I am trying to figure out whether it means if I buy something for £2.50 at Debenhams they'll give me back points worth £2.50 (which seems generous) but I really don't understand what they're getting at...

for every £1 spent you get 2 nectar points so on that basis you would need to spend £250 to get 500 nectar points, you might wnat to check that, i wouldnt bother using it unless your going to sepnd £250 pound in debenhams, anyone else have any other ideas

I hardly ever shop in Debenhams (mainly because it's a bit away from the main shopping area) so have no current plans to go there or spend £250...

I got a similar voucher it clearly states 500 bonus points when you spend 500 points in store.
I take it to mean if you buy something for £2.50 and pay with 500 points they will give you 500 points ! Strange but thats the only sense i can make of it.
Just read the minute print on the back and it says :

Hand this coupon and your nectar card when making a purchase using 500 points and 500 points will be added to your account within 28 days.
