Hi Jo4, it normally takes between 10 to 14 days, but some purchases I have made have taken 21 days. Go to your account and check your balance by selecting "View your transactions" it lists where and when you bought stuff and from whom.

For those who are still looking for a way to join TNS.com to earn Nectar points. there is a link available on nectar.com to join. I have pasted it below.

By the way being one of my Bzz Campaign, there is a chance to earn triple point shen u shop through Nectar e-store.
But since it is a referral kind of thing(though i don't think i will earn anything, it only adds value to my Bzz report), if any of u interested, I can post it to the referral board.

Ning is correct. I got the same invite from bzzagent (http://www.bzzagent.co.uk/) (a word of mouth marketing website - plenty of information on their site and MSE), to give TRIPLE NECTAR POINTS on ESTORE purchases (well at least the first one I tried anyway) any referrals get no impact as far as I can see - separate reports get the agents get a few points (feedback score only) but no benefit from using their referral link

My link for example is http://www.nectar.com/bzz/?referral=5172
    - if you want you could probably change the referral number to any lower number on the nectar page or check out the referral pages for other MSE members reference numbers.....
Alternatively you could join Bzz but I'm not sure whether you would be in time to signup for this 'campaign' - but well worth it anyway though (for example after 2 weeks I got loads of Bryllcream new b: sample products to share with friends )

Just had an email about this Child Trust Fund scheme from the Nectar point loyalty card. It seems very innovative. (I don't know how financially savvy it would be.)

    http://www.nectar.com/childtrustfund/

Basically, you can top up the Child Trust Fund with Nectar points! Very novel idea.

You also get 1000 bonus Nectar points when you open the account and another 1000 if you start a direct debit. Something a bit different anyway!

It could be a good use for Nectar points now that the Adams offer isn't available.

I've just read the link and:-
Please remember that as the account invests in shares your child could get back less than was originally invested.

That's a standard disclaimer that any share-based account has to state. All of the share-based Child Trust Funds will have the same warning.

I've sent off for an information pack and will have a look around to see how well the parent company has been performing so far. It's run by Family Investments and I don't know much about them, personally.

There's a CTF Discussion Thread in the Savings board so I'll report back there if I unearth anything interesting! ;) Just thought that the concept of earning and spending Nectar points on a Child Trust Fund was worth a mention on this thread too. :)
