Hi
Soon as I got my email from Martin I was straight on the Nectar site to update my account - hadn't been for a while - & check out the deal.
Tried to apply for the Amex, but the online form won't accept a double-digit post town.
However, if you call 0800 700 727 (free) you can apply by phone - the lady was really nice, and she thought the site wasn't set up to get you the 6000 points anyway, only 1 or 2 thousand - and still get the full deal.
Don't forget the offer expires 31st March, though....
Have just been through the application process, and hit the snag with the postcode. The trick is....to leave out the gap in the middle if your first block has two numerics !
Examples: ZY143MN (Not ZY14 3MN)
Hope this may be of assistance to other folk.0 -
I remember seeing, but can't find a code to quote when booking a Ford / Rapid Fit car service. It expired aound May or June.
Quoting the reference gave you an extra 2000 Nectar points I think.
Can anyone help me out finding it please.. ?Never buy a stupid dwarf -

Its OK, I have found....
After a harsh winter isn’t it time you gave your car a little bit of TLC? Take it for a Ford scheduled service and you’ll have it in great condition and ready for the coming year.
A Ford scheduled service will give you complete peace of mind especially when you consider that:
• All work carried out is by Ford trained technicians
• Your car undergoes a thorough 27 point visual healthcheck
• Only Ford genuine parts will be fitted
Plus, you’ll have 2,500 Nectar bonus points to spend at your leisure. So why not treat your car and yourself?
To collect your 2,500 Nectar bonus points, simply book your car in for a service between 12th February and 15th April 2007, quoting 8016. For more information and details of your nearest Nectar participating dealer, visit www.ford.co.uk/nectar. Please print this email and take it with you when you have your service and Ford will do the rest.Never buy a stupid dwarf -

Could both my wife and I apply for individual Amex credit cards and gain 6,000 points each for a total 12,000 points?
Bit unsure with us having the same address and joint bank account, although we could use another bank account for a card.We do have separate Nectar cards.
Is the approval time quite, as offer seems to finish tommorrow. Did you have to have the card and spend before 31st March, or does it still count afterwards?
Also, when Nectar send out statements, can the vouchers that they attach be used by other card holders linked to the main cardholder - or do they have to be used inconjuction with the primary card.
Are the coupons for triple points on X spend at Sainsbury's etc. specific to a card, or are they generic to be used by other cards?
Asked CS at Sainsbury's and they weren't sure! One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0 -

I can't help with the first question about the credit card.
I'm pretty sure the vouchers you get from Nectar can be used by anyone with a card on the same account.
The triple points vouchers are card specific - from memory they're not scanned. Plus the points aren't added on at the time, they're sent away and added on some time later, which also suggests they'll only be added to the card they were sent to. I guess someone else could use the vouchers and earn you points though.0 -
Does anyone know any Nectar bonus code for AA please. Renewing soon but trying to bargain with the AA and bring it down Cheaper.
thanks0 -
Does anyone else find that it takes ages for any points earned in estores to be added to your Nectar balance?
How long do others leave it until they query the points? Most of mine are with Amazon and I know they don't add points until after delivery, but some of my items were delivered a few weeks back now.
Thanks
Edited to say, have just searched on the nectar site and it takes 28 days from despatch to receive points:eek:MFIT No. 810
