I've had an answer back from my tns and panic over! (well, mine anyway!)
This is why TNS doesn't show with sponsors on nectar site.
Here you will find information about the reward system. The reason that this information is not on the Nectar website is that we would have people contacting us regularly asking to join and earn points. However this is not possible and you must be invited by our recruiting partners to be able to join.
Makes sense now and lo and behold, on checking back there today, some of the points I've been waiting for have appeared! Teach me to be more patient if nothing else0 -
I haven't been able to get onto the Nectar site for a few days - is it just me, or is it down?
There's a couple of things I want from Amazon, and I don't do patience very well!!0 -
Hi,
First post on here, so apologies in advance for my ignorance!
I have a Dollond & Aitchison voucher which allows me to add on 2,000 Nectar points for any purchase of complete specs from there.
I'm looking at a pair of specs which will cost me £100, but actually £80, because I have an additional 20%-off voucher. The great thing is that I can use the Nectar voucher & the money-off voucher in conjunction with each other.
In short, is the whole deal a good one in terms of Nectar points?
MSE recommends that you should use a rewards scheme if the place you shop at offers it (& not to be swayed just by the scheme to shop there); however, I have seen another pair of specs at an online place for £68 (all-in, & & obviously no rewards entitlement) which are a bit nicer than the D & A ones.
Can't go for both as budgets won't allow it, but just looking to get an idea of which "deal" is better.
Cheers...

On the front page Martin has a flash that Nectar are offering 6000 points for opening an Amex Nectar card. Thought I would check out the website as I have a card 'somewhere' - you know, that safe place where you won't lose it!
STOP PRESS - OH and I are planning to go to Venice in the autumn - V. BIG birthday, and still wearing the rosy tinted glasses from our wedding last year. :lovethoug Nectar are offering 35% off Orient Express trips (UK too) if you book 6-8 months in advance. (Range of discount rates depending how close you book)
This means that by booking now, we will save....wait for it.....£1001 on the trip :j :money: :j
T&C mean that we can only book the One Way rather than return, and have to sort out our own accomodation for the days in Venice (back to MSE for that then), but.....£1001...! Okay it's only Wednesday but, yipee.
If this doesn't convince him to do MSE, nothing will0 -
Hi
Soon as I got my email from Martin I was straight on the Nectar site to update my account - hadn't been for a while - & check out the deal.
Tried to apply for the Amex, but the online form won't accept a double-digit post town.
However, if you call 0800 700 727 (free) you can apply by phone - the lady was really nice, and she thought the site wasn't set up to get you the 6000 points anyway, only 1 or 2 thousand - and still get the full deal.
Don't forget the offer expires 31st March, though....0 -

Am I going crazY? Do adams kids no longer offer points? Why cant I find them on the nectar website?
I was in Adams last weekend, and as I handed my Nectar card was told they would shortly be withdrawing from Nectar. No date was confirmed but the assistant did say that Adams were looking at alternative loyalty options.0 -

The best place I have spent points was Warwick Castle - great day out. I went during the Frost Fair, but they do lots of themed days.0
