carol_a wrote:Has anyone seen the new Nectar savings club link on the Nectar home page? It says that you can save your points from April until December and get any that you get during online shopping will be doubled, special offers etc. Do we think this is a good idea?
Says if you lock your points in until December you get a bonus - but I can see no way of finding out exactly what bonus until you sign up. Anyone have more info?
Thanks

Haven't read all posts so don't know if this has been reported already.
At some Brewer's Fayres (or similar), you can present your nectar card when ordering and opening a tab with a debit card. Then when you're finished, get your partner(with another debit card) to pay and present their nectar card. You often get points assigned to both cards0 -
deedums wrote:Just received this email -'As a Nectar member you can earn 2 Nectar points per £1 spent plus get 2,000 Nectar Bonus points, when you buy AA membership.'Nectar Bonus Points are only available to new Members when joining online, paying by Direct Debit or by credit card under a recurring annual transaction arrangement, before 30 June 2007 and not available on renewal.
First of all i'm a total newbie to forums so i'm sorry if this doesn't format correctly.
The above offer clearly states that this offer is for new members and not for renewal. However i phoned up the AA and spoke to a helpful chap( "he's a very nice man, a very very nice man " and i explained to him that i was an existing member and my second anniversary was coming up but i was thinking of leaving. I mentioned this 2000 points offer for new members and said, if i cancelled my membership and then rejoined would i be classed as a new member and get my joining bonus. He said yes but what he is authorised to do in these circumstances is overide the above the criteria due to the fact that the admin costs to the company for me to cancel and rejoin are relatively high and therefore he took my nectar card details and put the 2000 points on there and then. Theoretically , if the points take 14-28 days to come on to my nectar account, i could then still cancel my AA a/c because i am on a rolling renewal and move to a cheaper Breakdown cover0 -

I did a similar thing to this - I ordered a new card as mine was splitting and they sent the small booklet they normally do with points vouchers in0 -
Does anyone know what has happened with My TNS? I've been doing surveys with them for over a year now but they are no longer in the list of sponsors to collect rewards from with Nectar! I've done nearly £6 worth of surveys with them recently yet even searches for them on the nectar site aren't giving any results. I've emailed MYTNS to ask today what's happening and will try contacting nectar later, but wondered if anyone here knoew anything meanwhile ...0

i can look back and see i had 290 points added from TNS between october 06 - feb 07 though
does it show when you do this ?? click on "previous points update" ?0 -
I'm still getting MyTNS points credited to my Nectar account, I've got some showing from 23rd Feb if I log into Nectar.
If you go into the My Account section on the Nectar website is there nothing showing under TNS?0 -
I still get my tns points put onto nectar, sometimes quicker than others, I've never had probs with it though. They are my main source of nectar points.0
