I just remembered the rule about buying at least 1 air mile pretty soon or lose your entire air miles balance. I haven't collected any air miles for several years, but I'd like to hold onto my present balance.

The cheapest way seems to be to convert £2.50 clubcard points in to 60 air miles, but it seems I can't do this as all of my Clubcard points are being re-issued and therefore not available to be used until August (or maybe September).

I think I may have left it a bit too long as it is, so I'd like to buy these Air Miles as soon as I can before I forget again, but I haven't got any avaliable Clubcard points at present.

Is there a specific cut off date when Air Miles will be lost?

My last "transaction" was getting paper Air Miles vouchers credited to my account on 16/7/2008 - nearly a year ago, and even that might not qualify as a real transaction for the purposes of working out when a cut off date might be.

If you log onto the airmiles web site http://www.airmiles.co.uk you will find lots of ways to collect airmiles but be warned they take quite a while to get through to your airmiles account.

One of the easiest ways (and quickest, my purchase was credited within 2 weeks) to collect the odd airmile is with photobox, I think it's one airmile for each £2 spent and you can get referred to get 50 free prints just need to pay the postage of £1.49 approx. If you want referring just let me know (pm me) or just join any way you should be able to get 30 or 40 free prints but you have to be looged in through the photobox on the airmiles site.

As long as you have your airmiles account number you can create an account with airmiles online and then it should tell you when you need to have at least one airmile credited by but I also think it is 2 years but better safe than sorry.

do you use ebay??? you can get airmiles through ebay.

I don't understand why so many people are buying airmiles on Ebay for so much more money than they are actually worth. If you look at the completed listings on Ebay, you will find sales of 1000 airmiles for £110 (actual worth £87) or 100 airmiles for £21.36 plus £3.50 postage (actual worth £9). Am I missing something?

Apparently these people generally are reputedly not buying the Air Miles vouchers with their money but with someone else's who they have stolen the details for on the internet:eek::mad:

I was about to list my airmiles on Ebay as I am not collecting them anymore, and want to try and get something back for them! Bit worried though about scammers buying with stolen details!

I think sandraroffey meant that you can collect airmiles when you purchase goods through ebay. You need to go to the airmiles website and then go to ebay through there. Hope this helps.
