PS regarding the tesco clubcard points you can do little things like spend £30 on ebay and get 720 airmiles :D[/QUOTE]

What does this mean, just found the thread tonight, wiped out my airmiles on a trip to Barcelona in Feb (fab) and would like to start building them up again. Many thanks
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

£30 will get you 3000 clubcard points (green) for recycling ink. Note many sellers have it for £30+P&P but i got one for about £30 and they even post them off for you (you can do this every year).

I wonder if someone can help with this scenario?

I have an account registered at my address with 78 points.

My mum has an account registered at another address with alot more points. She needs to use or top-up her airmiles in the next few months or she loses them but has no way of topping her account up at the moment.

If she changes her address to mine then can I create a household account within my account and receive her points and then top them up using my clubcard vouchers. Then they won't be lost?

At the moment she has to pay a fee just to use them which doesn't seem fair.

Hope someone can help me! :)

    Hi
Did this work, we have the same problem, my mother in law has a dormant account and wants to give us the miles. I did contact airmiles re this and they sent me out a form to make me a mentor (i think this is what it was called) andi could use her account but not transfer them to mine. This sounds like a better idea.

Can you let me know if!:T

Can anyone clarify if I will get more airmiles when spending in Tesco if I use the Lloyds TSB Duo Amex card, plus a regular clubcard, or from using a Clubcard plus? My head is buzzing with the sums!

Also my husband I both have 1500 voucher from the Duo card, but don't actually need a hotel/flight to Europe as we're saving the airmiles for a trip to USA next September. Is there a way to get use the vouchers? They run out at the end of this year.

    Ruthiejane:
    Clubcard plus = on a £150 spend = 300 clubcard points = 72 airmiles
    Clubcard + Llyods TSB Duo = on a £150 spend = (150 clubcard points) 36 airmiles + 15 airmiles = 51 airmiles

So for every £150 you spend at Tesco you get 22 more airmiles with the clubcard+ than with the credit card and normal clubcard.
    Hope this helps :)

Thanks Giovanni, that really helps. I'd better start using the clubcard plus again then!

No problem, you might just want to try getting home delivery - that's what we're doing now. We use the 750 point coupons weekly so that's £30 worth of deals a week, which equates to 720 airmiles per month!

Do your grocery shopping on tesco.com - signup and add your clubcard to your account. Then do your shopping on the tesco.com site, book a delivery slot and use coupons from this thread here or from this site here. Use the codes that say 750 extra points on a £50 shop. This means when you spend £50 or more you get your standard 1 point per pound and 750 extra points. That means 800 points or £8.00 worth of tesco vouchers a week. That equates to around 192 airmiles a week. So around 720-800 arimiles a month. In my previous post I meant to say 720 airmiles a month. Hope this helps.
