Been on sale for over a week now, I got a brand new one using codes for £130 about 6months ago

No SW upgrade for this machine, Digifusion gone bust I believe

    No, taken over by Beko.

But still beware of these machines as I had one that broke down after 6 months. A bit of research showed that there were lots of people who's machines broke down after the same time period. Maybe some design/manufacturing flaw?

Anyway I got my money back and got the Thomson DHD4000 for £99.99 from Argos. So far it's been a great machine and although it's only 40gb it's supposed to be an easy upgrade.

I have the FVRT 100 and I think its a great device, it has definately changed the way I watch tv. I recently had to buy a new power supply (£20), I bought into the technology quite early and the power supplies were a bit suspect but after 2yrs plus service from the pvr box its still working like a dream.

I would recommend the pvr but no nothing about this company.

Perhaps but still possible for them to be bust as such is it not.

Anyway the bottom line is can you see Beko releasing a SW upgrade to improve this model, thats the big question

I was tempted, but having read a thread about them on Digital Spy I thought better of it.

That's quite an old thread. Suggest you do more digging.

I've been bidding on Topfields on EBay and the odd FVRT box. Given what the FVRTs change hands for there, the price seems reasonable.

You can also buy an FVRT145 for £125 from Argos and use the latest firmware.
