Just a thought but maybe the local supermarket competition (i.e tesco or morrisons ) might be more interested in helping then asda, especially if theyget a bit of good publicity at this time of year
Big Thanks to all who post on the comps board0 -

Thank you all for being so supportive and wanting to help back me up etc - but before I go any further - please goodness don't describe my Mam as elderly! lol She is only in her 50s.

Ok I am going to email Asda now. I feel more confident with the extra support that you are all providing
Anyway the card is just a savings card - you pick it up at the till and you top it up whenever you shop therefore saving until Christmas is upon us so as far as I am aware there is no way to cancel it, it would just be a case of watching for a card with her signature on the back.
Mam and Dad both work so hard and I just don't think it's fair that some scumbag can just take from them what they have earned and just waste it all on alcohol (which he is bound to do) when they had saved that up for Christmas treats

Oh and I do apologise as I can't find the post now - but someone suggested seeing if she had a receipt from a time when she added to the card, but unfortunately she hasn't.Dream of being mortgage free....

Good luck dawnylou. My Mum was robbed outside Asda when a scumbag jumped into her car and stole her bag as she was driving away. She was fortunate she just had loyalty cards and had great customer service from Sainsburys and Boots. She wasn't too impressed with the Asda though.
Best of luck and I'm sure there are many of us who will send emails if required.
Welcome back toni, you're a star x0 -

Hi all. Just finished writing my email...I know took forever!!
Captain Cash is the cashback site linked to The Sun, it is Captain Crunch
I wrote to him but I've not heard back. I don't know whether he would write back or whether I would just see it in the paper if he did decide to help?
I know I am over the moon with how supportive and helpful everyone here has been!
Now I just hope that Asda will take the time to reply to my email!
