BTW, there are only a few on here who take the moral high ground. The rest of us have made mistakes and are big enough to admit it but more importanty we learn from it!
Maybe that actually makes us richer!

Hi Mrs D
Just to add my bit - I 'lurked' on this site for ages, before I made my first posting. It was this board I first posted to too. As you will see from my sig - I do have debts, and we are trying to get rid of them asap.
I fall into the camp of liking to have something to look forward to - so SS go and enjoy the footie - personally I hate it - I'm a rugby girl! However, we were given free tickets to see the Saints (Northampton RFC), and DH took a day off work - but it was fab to watch at the ground. We took a picnic. Previously, we'd have bought food at the ground etc.
Sometimes we all need a harsh post to kick us back into touch. Most of us on the DFW board are there because we WANT to be debt free, you and your DH are there already - I want to join you. I also want my daughter to go to private school (not a dig at teachers - we have lots in the family!), so currently our aim is to be debt free in 2007 with a view to her going as soon as the debts are cleared, and we have the first terms fees. This is MY motivation - it won't suit all, and I may get slated for it - however, I recognise that ALL are entitled to their views. I may not agree with them, but sometimes I need to be shown the other side.
I hope you continue to read many threads on this site - not just on the DFW board, and that you realise that for most of us - our heart is in the right place, but sometimes we can not put it across in words.

HAHAHA - SS, you are in real danger of sounding more and more like your avatar...that quote just now made me think of a classic homer quote "Marge, it takes two to tell a lie...one to tell the lie, and the other to listen to it"
I know it's not at all similar, but I've had two glasses of wine and not much is making sense right now....
The trips looking definate then? Good on you mate.0 -

Ditto - I avoid all the shouting as I'm not good with confrontation!
I'm also not good at hearing things I don't want to hear so don't post about personal things I don't want other people to know.
