Boots employ lots of nice SA's, me being one of them, as far as i am concerned i go out of my way on a daily basis to help boots customers get the most from their shopping trip. you should try standing the other side of the counter!!!

If you have had bad customer srvice in your store try writing to the manager, i'm sure he would love to know.

the lady that served me last time in my local boots was very nice and helpful too, was a nice change as some shops can be awful - jdsports was one!

I am sorry but i think this is totally out of order. Doing it yourself is one thing but putting it up like this on a board read by many thousands and encouraging them to do this goes against what this site is about.

Hmmm, not sure tbh! Pretty sure it's not fraud, just an attempt at a glitch. I've read plenty of peeps saying that they've returned stuff after seeing it reduced.

Happy to delete if others want me to, sounds like it may not work anyway! :o

Tell you what sandysaves, if I do end up deleting post #1 it would help if you deleted the bit of yours where you quote my entire post. No point otherwise!!

My OH says that due to a similar thing happening last year, all refunded goods stay behind till and you are unable to repurchase. It doesnt really matter if there is stock on the shelves because they cant stop you buying one of them (at least i wouldnt have thought so).
However it seems from other posters it differs store to store.
Having said that, sandysaves does have a point, not sure if it is fraud as such, but putting it on here is like advertising on a billboard and certainly will give Boots a heads up on being ready for it and dealing with it as they see fit.

Last year i saw a woman return 3 OOTW, she said - oh ive lost my receipt can i have a gift card.

She had bought the offers of the week the pevios week when they were half price and 342, she waited till the offer was over, then took them back. As she didnt have a receipt the store credited her with 2 x full price.

I was stood there about to scream at her, cos it was the a big black bag that i wanted but couldnt get my hands on, but now i would have to pay full price cos she nabbed 3 knowing she didnt want them but would be returning them for profit.

Doesnt that wind you up. You clearly know that the woman was blatantly ripping them off yet was able to get away with it, in the mean time you couldnt get what you genuinely wanted.
What other reason would you buy 3 and take 3 back?
