I'm currently an SA in boots but can only speak for the store i work in as I know it varies widely! We generally take returns of goods as long as they are re-saleable, offer an exchange or refund, and do not always require a reciept. If you ask to speak to manager if the SA is unable to do it, they generally like to sort things out so that CS are not hearing bad reports about their store (even though it infuriates and undernines SA's who are following the rules they have been given!)
Also remember that the xmas temps a generally not authorised to do refunds/exchanges and this may be where some confusion can be caused.
It is advertised in store, the last day to order for store collection is 17th December, home delivery is 21st or 22nd(next day delivery)
Larger stores will be currently getting at least one delivery a day, and all previous OOTW have had further delivieries after the first one.
Many SA's are lovely, nice people, others are grumpy and useless, but that is human nature, and the nature of retail. If you experience bad customer service, don't be afraid to tell a manager, you can be sure the SA will hear about it, on the other hand if you do recieve great service that is something we hear about far less!
I think any store would prefer to sort issues out themselves rather than hearing about it from CS.
Also please don't try and knock us SA's over while we try to fill the shelves for you :rotfl:
I hope you all get everything you are wanting!

    Hmmm, it's a bit hit & miss.
They start to update their offers at midnight, but the website often plays up, or you just get a holding page, ..or you could get lucky.

Have an afternoon nap & start to camp out a midnight. ;)
