I waited last year to get S&G stuff in the sale and there was NONE anywhere in the country, all those unsold gift sets just disapeared overnight. Very few people on the boots thread managed to get any and we searched high and low.
I would rather get one now at £20 than risk NOT getting one for £12.50, the extra £7.50 is sooooooo worth it.
Yep, I went to my local store around noon the first day of the 50% off sale last year, and not one item of s&g was left! The ordering online was screwy and not much could be grabbed there at 50% either, and nothing at all at 75% off. Such a shame.
I'm so tempted by this set, but Santa is already being very generous to me this year. Hubby did ask if there was anything else I wanted a couple days ago, and I told him no, I've got more than enough gifts. And yet I keep going back to look at this box that I don't need and wouldn't even need to open for years as I have too much stuff in my stash already! Must...be...strong!0 -
Just called my local store, they say that I can buy it today and return it for a refund (and re-buy it!) after the 18th.
I would stay up and order it online after midnight on the 18th but I am not at all confident of getting it, I dread the OOS message appearing!!
Decisions decisions...
Word to the wise, I don't advise this.... last year I bought the FCUK bag before it went on offer tried to return and re buy it and was told no way. they would let me return it but won't let me re buy it at that store, I had to go across town to purchase at another store. I know everyone wants this offer but so far none of them seem to have run out of stock online so I'm not really worried, I figure there will still be some to buy online by the time I get up at 7am.0 -
does anyone know if the trafford centre had these in stock as when i went in at the weekend (nightmare!) i couldnt see any :S

I bought quite a few of the OOTW last year, and never on the first day. Stores may sell out on certain days but they do restock often so if you really want one, and are prepared to put a bit of effort in you should get one. I just plan on going to my tiny local boots. They have had a pile of the OOTW beside the tills each week, even though its an item they don't normally stock.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0

Awww Tara, it was a good idea of sorts & might work for some.
It was also very good of you to share it..thank you.
Knowing my luck though, it won't work for me..glitches & codes etc have a way of coming back & hitting me in the face, :rotfl:
Never mind, we can't have everything & I suppose I've been lucky in other ways here & there. (If only I could pinpoint where.)

Boots.com is technically a separate company to instore, so they are perfectly entitled to refuse to sell it back to you. Of course you may get a nice SA who is happy to do it, but then again you might not.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
My dd1 loves s&g, so I think I will just pop into boots on 18th and try and get one, thanks for tip,

Express surprise that it is now OOTW and reduced to £20...
i've been wondering this for ages and can't figure it out...what does OOTW mean? only thing i come up with for a google search is Out of This World and that doesn't seem to fit (or maybe it does, i've not taken part in any of these deals yet!)0 -

Well last Christmas when we were hoping and praying for some Soap & Glory to make it through the 50% to be sitting there waiting for us in the 75% off sale, they might as well have been 'Out of this world' :rotfl:0
