I have been a next customer for many years and have always had a VIP slot since they were introduced, until last xmas I did not receive one or in the summer. So I am not expecting one this time. I am not complaining as I am aware that there are people who have never had one and I have had my fair share. Sure like everyone else I would like one but accept that its someone else's turn. I have no idea how they select who is offered but I will wait like evryone else.

I'd agree with this - I very rarely spend anything, apart from in my VIP slot. I usually do get a VIP invite, so I'm hoping my luck holds out this year too.
