NEXT VIP slots

wallaby - I've had a next directory account for a few years but never had a vip slot, but there again I dont spend a lot on it, I suppose its the luck of the draw

FWIW i only buy online at the sales as my OH works for next so when we go instore when its not sale time he gets his discount but stores dont have the branded stuff or some of the sizes Im looking for. I didnt get one for the summer sale but phoned saying the site had crashed and they took it over the phone, I then got an invite for the mid season.

Ive had my account for about 4 months and to be honest ive pretty much convinced myself i wont get a slot but if i did it would be fantastic ... I dont have a balance on my account at the moment but now im wondering if i should have left one, not that i know if that would have made a difference or not!!...i just wish they would hurry up and put me out of my misery, good luck everyone

i dont think the balance thing makes a difference. I've had a slot in previous sales and always had a balance of 0, this time ive got a slight balance on my account to pay and ive been told ive still got a slot, but we'll see.

When did they tell you you'll be getting a slot? They told me they have no way of knowing as it wont show on accounts untill the email has gone out, so at the moment it will show 'no vip' for everyone

i rang customer service this morning.
They DO have a way of knowing - every sale i ring up and when they tell me i have a slot it always turns out to be the case!

as far as i know there is no criteria, its just the luck of the draw.
i have had money owing on my balance, and zero balance and it doesnt make a difference i usually get a slot but we'll see this time.

oh it doesnt matter how much you spend throughout the year with the directory as i didnt use to spend anything at all except for in my vip slot. This year ive ordered bits all year so we'll see.
