    Morning all!

Wet and grey here, but must be warmer as kids moaned the house was too hot this morning, checked heating and it was only on low!

Have yet another scan this morning, then hopefully getting computer and rabbit hutch sorted out - got the rabbits in their indoor cage at the mo, parked in the middle of the kitchen whilst I mend their home - kittens are terrified of them!

OS stuff will involve cooking in my nice new oven, have quite a bit of leftover chicken, so may well be a pie on the horizon! Have S&S the kitchen, just need to mop and hoover there now, and hoover through the rest of the house. Then going to find the rest of the Chrimbo decs, they are out in that garage somewhere! Also want to put up the rest of the lights if there's time.

Lunches for the girls (ds has a gippy tum): cheese sarnies, apples, dd2's choc cake

Dinner: chicken and leek pie for the troops, with roasties and cabbage. I'll take something into work with me tonight.

Have a good day all, going to try to catch up here quickly, hugs where needed xx

    Morning all :)

Not looking so bad here today, weatherwise. Probably cold outside though. Will find out shortly, as I need to take DDs to their fencing session. Then hopefully we will get to the cinema to watch Nativity. We wanted to go last week, but with one thing and another, it was put off.

Not much OS-iness going on at the moment.

I made rolls earlier and made up a yoghurt, but that's about it - apart from the washing machine going, but that's pretty much a regular lately.

Dinner tonight will be HM pizza. I need to get a few ingredients, but otherwise a pretty easy day really.

Thanks for the carol, tru. I love this time of year and a daily christmas carol does wonders :)

    Good luck for today Pen-Pin.

Hope you all have a good day, whatever you're doing and ((((HUGS)))) to those who need them.

Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for the lovely comments about yesterday! Who ever asked did I wet the bed- that made me chuckle! I didn't realise i was quite so hyper! Was great fun though.:D:j:beer:

Pen Pin- Good luck for today . Love the Body shop order - I want one! :j

MSD - Hope Tris has a better day :A

Heavenleigh - that's great about your son. You must be so proud. :D:j

Halight - hi, love the sound of your grotto!

Redruby - good luck hearing about the move. Can I come for tea?;)

JC - I will have to try blackjack vodka :j

Haribo - well done on the hampers! Lucky thing. Sorry you are missing Step Mum and Dad, but glad they had a lovely visit :A

Hi and hugs to anyone I've missed.

I am a bad bad girl. I couldn't make myself go to that job interview today.Spent most of the night having nightmares about interviews.

yesterday nothing went to plan. Mum came over and I made her lunch. She was very impressed with my HM wheaten and carrot cake (which she took loads home and the loaf) .

She ran me to Lidl which saved me cycling - got some crochet hooks but really didn't know what I was doing or picking. They are big plastic hook things and I have a ball of rainbow wool floating aroudn the house, so i will try to have a go tonight. I have a drum kit in my living room - which is taking up too much space. My friend was supposed to get it yesterday which meant i could have rearranged the back half of the living room but it wasn't meant to be. Ended up doing very little after Mum left.

She brought me a load of stuff for the hostel and I rang them today and confirmed a few things , so just need to add to the pile and then deliver it! :T

At 10 last night I realised I hadn't had dinner, so cooked up the jalfrezi i took out of the freezer, and some rice which was yummy. The jalfrezi seems to have lost its spiciness having been frozen though? Unless my taste buds are shot

I need to make flapjacks tonight to send to my friend in Afghanistan, and a banoffee for my friend ( I promised him it about a year ago and he keeps reminding me....:rotfl:)

    breakfast was toasted whoopsied bagel
    Lunch HM bread and ham
Dinner - dunno, wasn't that organised today. :o

Oops, just realised i posted half a sentence?:rotfl:

    Hi Old Style Friends,
I been to the docs and she think my blood pressure is dropping when I stand up and hence black out which is reassuring but makes me more wobbly. Just recovering from a very pretty black eye that I got last week so will be very multicoloured if this continues.

Anyway Im plodding around slowly this morning. I have started my christmas tree and getting tidied up as we speak...my cleaner is here! My DS2 fell flat on his face in the mud as he walked across the fields to school:mad::mad: So cross at him as he has been told to take the path on numerous occasions. So a full set of school clothes that was only washed and ironed yesterday is whirring in the WM. Ive got loads of washing to do and need to change beds soon.

Ive got DS1 tutor parent meeting this evening and DD on Thursday at college. Wondering what delights we will be told:eek::eek: So quick tea of lamb burger and HM lasagne for DD.

Well I need to go and flick a duster around as I can at least do that!

    Have a good day,
    Love Mollyxx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Afternoon all.

Ah, so many tasks to do, so little energy!

Redruby thanks for asking, Saturday evening went well. Mr LW thoroughly enjoyed himself, which was the most important thing, and I managed to get through without having a panic attack.:T

I'm still totally exhausted though - it really knocked the stuffing out of me. Oh, for those who wonder what the daft bat's wittering about, it was Mr LW's 60th birthday Saturday, and we had a "do" at our favourite pub.:o

The BM is on at the moment, and at some point I need to make cheese straws, carrot'n'orange cake and a quiche. May leave those til tomorrow though, as I also really ought to try and make up some Yule cards. We had enough to do a third of our list; if I don't get on and do them this week, we'll have to try and find a craft fair or market or something to get some.

Mr LW has fetched the Yule decs out of the loft; they're sitting at the end of the lounge, and I'm carefully ignoring them.:D

We're supposed to attend a Mensa meeting in Northampton tonight, but tbh, I think we might stop in and watch the Dragonwars DVD that Mr LW's pal gave him for his birthday. I'm just too tired to be bothered with traipsing out.

LOL I asked Mr LW to dig me out some clothes to wear this morning, and he handed me a top with dangly bits on the sleeves, so I'm very glad of my elasticated sleeve protectors that I got from Lakeland.:o

Well, I'd better get off here and get on with something, or it'll be next Yule before anything's done.

((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need one today, especially Pen-Pin and Molly. Also gentle healing thoughts for Tris.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Dont know about the blackjack vodka but made some cinnamon sweet vodka the other week - suitably festive and warming I thought, smells amazing but have to admit i havent tried it yet!

Still growling about being in uni till 5 tonight - normaly finish by 3 on a monday

However have been good and brought tuna mayo pasta as didnt have any bread in for sarnies today, have the tuna pasta for tomorrow too, it's quite canny so i dont mind it. Means I dont spend, which has to be a good thing! (esp as someone at this uni has, in their infinite wisdom, decided to replace a perfectly good canteen with a fancy-bum 'panninis with goats cheese' type place for a bargainous £3 a sarnie. Puh-lease. Like students can spare that kind of cash!!

I'll stop ranting and go away now, I promise! :p
    On the up :D
