Pigpen - we haven't said a word to her about ex telling his dad, she feels that his dad has a right to know. We are all the support she and the baby needs in our opinion. She just wants ex to be part of the baby's life as she had her dad and couldn't imagine what it would be like for her baby not to have one. Me, sister and brother didn't have our dad from an early age and it didn't give us much bother; well to be honest I had a problem but saw him years after as XH tracked him down about 12 years ago, saw him about 6 times in that year, was really cross with myself as I cried in front of him and the upshot was he rang me on xmas eve and said "I know you'll be busy tomorrow with everyone round so happy xmas and will ring in the new year". Did he; did he f£ck, though to be fair he never said which new year!! LOL. Am over him now. My neices haven't seen their dad since they were 1 and 2 respectively (tw£tface we call him; sis and I) and it hasn't done them any harm, the are well rounded kids, right smashers they are and they know who exactly loves them.
His dad (DD2 EX) went through this last year with his DD and they are living with him and he loves his grandson and our DD2 thinks he should have the same opportunity with this one.
I'm not offended by what you said; just wanted to clarify the situation; it's not me/us who's telling her to go and see his dad; she feels she needs to. So what can I do? She asked DS to take her and he said yes, the ex's sister knows about this and agrees with DD2
Ooh she doesn't want money of him either, just thinks he has a right to know about his grandchild. Anyway she has told me tonight that he says he's told him, his sister is still saying otherwise and is livid with him for lying to DD2 again. We as a family will help to support her no matter what
And I'd rather have DS go with her than her go on her own

    Evening everyone.

Went to Mr A this morning then came back and did dailies. Then went to see mum. Once again had a word as her cigarrette lighter was gone. I said I know its only a lighter but I just replaced it two days ago as they keep dissapearing. Then a big rant as her necklace has gone mising and its never off her neck. No one seemed to know anything about it. Got to DDs who is ill with tonsilitis. So walked into town to get her meds then walked back. Walked home and got on with lists. Also made hobnobs for coffee morning tomorow. Kitchen cleaned up and tidied. Im shattered so off to bed shortly. Need to write some cards for tomorrow first.

Happy Birthday to Mudbath and Julie :bdaycake::bdaycake:

    Hugs for everyone.
