Do I get a star for NOT buying the most amazing and biggest Le Creuset casserole even though its on a fantastic offer and would look fantastic in my kitchen and everything and everything

triker :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I am not that full of christmas cheer!!! well done you for resisting - you need to sort out your car and your debts first and then you can enjoy treating yourself :T WOW you certainly have been working on a plan -:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:TWTG xx
carlsberggrannan thats good the SD and her Mum have sorted things out a bit = long may it last - no you are not selfish - it would be a terrible upheavel for everyone and if she is going to come like sou said it will be permanent. Well done to DD for telling the other grandpa - its only right but his son should have done it before now.
Hex (((hugs))) I am sure you will get there - you are an efficient lady most of the time:p:D OMG 51 :eek::eek::eek:
oooooooooooooooooooooh I have a dragon beastie called after me!!! NOt sure if i should be honoured or not:confused::p:rotfl::rotfl:

twoflower is it just the cover you are going to wash or the whole thing? could you hand wash it? If you do decide to machine wash it do it on a low temp and you might find the stuffing will get a bit lumpy as it cant be stretchd out in the drum!!!

have been into town with my CSW and got one or 2 things done but was a bit breathless so found the busy shops a struggle.

the dietician and I decided to reschedule - it suited us both - so that meant it was a quieter afternoon.

the painter was here and had a good day doing woodwork and eventually the first coat of colour all over - its looking ok!
Unfortunately the flooring hasnt arrived and wont be here until friday so thats going to hold it all up but th joiners are coming tomorrow to do as much as they can in readiness.

ok of to hang up washing and organise tea
    catch you later.
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

  • Toots - I did think we were being terribly selfish for being happy, but like you said it would of been more of an upheaval than it is now if she had of come. DD2 is telling ex boyfriends dad this friday if he still hasn't. He said last week he had to her but his sister has told DD2 otherwise. Shame about the flooring, I hate it when things don't pan out like they should!!!

Toots I am impressed by how fast things are moving in your house.
DSs 1 and 3 will be home Saturday and I going to have them doing DHs odd jobs as he still can't work. He has been offered a painting job. Just wondering if I could send DS1 instead.
The busy shops are difficult at this time of year. DD and I are going to try being there when they open on Friday to see if that is any bette,r then hospital appointment straight after.

We found a pooch that we like this time. She is a young stray collie. She needs to be assessed first as she has just come in. Hopefully she will be suitable for us. The big dog is so quiet. I am sure he misses his friend.

Now to make dinner and do a bit of flying in between.
