    sneaks in,

Been a grotty couple of days IT wise, home & even worse at work, so have been a bit cut-off, (Greenbee - will PM you shortly) and it doesn't feel nice!

    List for today

Flying lady cards - as I can now read the email - will post tomorrow L-L, promise
Two cards for the US I missed
Fax forms to Denmark (need international code & working fax first)
A to bed (as soon as possible - he's pinging off the ceiling tonight :D)
    Prep dinner
Poundland for Santa bits (if DH home early enough)
    HHI or two
Select photos from photoshoot & sort out sending money/orders in

Get ready for the long train journeys tomorrow - couple of application forms to write up, invoices to outline, cover letters, various Christmas to do lists required. Can you tell I rather hate wasted time sitting on trains? Can't decide whether to lug heavy laptop with me or do all prep work by hand & type in once home.

    PM's
    PTFA email

    that's about it for now,

    Moam

Changed my mind and made mince pies for the first time ever - now have 24 freezing ready for Christmas (fingers crossed they taste nice!) Think I'll make the mincemeat next year too now. This year bought 3 jars for £1.27 all reduced prob in Jan and have used up 1 and a bit of the Finest range ones. Another batch should use it up now problem. I was going to make some for work but as there are over 20 of us in I might even need another jar now!

    Tonight's plan
    Ring mum
    sort washing out
    Bedroom
    Outfit/feet/nails/make up

    Off I go now!

    hi quick question:

I have a draught excluder that says wipe clean only but it has a light back and as we have wooden floor in hallway it gets dirty as the door drags across the floor as its opened, can I risk putting it in the machine, its made of polyester, Acrylic and cotton?

    What do you think?

I'd hand wash it in the sink and drip dry.. it is highly likely it will go all nasty and lumpy like pillows do when they are washed if you put it inthe machine.
Toots - I did think we were being terribly selfish for being happy, but like you said it would of been more of an upheaval than it is now if she had of come. DD2 is telling ex boyfriends dad this friday if he still hasn't. He said last week he had to her but his sister has told DD2 otherwise. Shame about the flooring, I hate it when things don't pan out like they should!!!

Why does he have to know right now? Who will gain from that?

If the dad is having little input into the baby, if he and DD are no longer 'together' it is of no consequence either way if his dad knows or not.

My mother bullied me into telling my 'father' I was pregnant with DS1 and I resent that to this day.. I was constantly nagged.. it is something he has to do in his own time and nagging him to do it sooner will cause ill feeling and resentment

Is DD expecting his dad to do anything? Be happy? Give her money? Chip in on childcare? If not then, to be frank.. if it won't change HER life whether he knows or not then it is totally irrelevant his feelings/thoughts/opinion on the matter.

I know that sounds harsh but isn't meant that way, I just wanted to be aware of the other side of things. It sounds like interference to me... which may cause an irreparable rift between DD and the baby's dad, she might not want that. I'd be absolutely livid if I was in his shoes.

And the outcome of me telling my father was it opened the door to a torrent of verbal abuse which resulted in me being 'ganged up on' with everyone demanding I have a termination.. at 17 weeks... then adding insult to injury.. everyone thought DS1 was fabulous once he arrived.
