  • Well back after going out.

Went to a party with DS then went to church where DS was an angel. He looked angelic even though the photographer kept calling him HER!! He told me it was boring though. Standing in the cold for half an hour isn't much fun for a 5 year old.

    me- hugs

Kazm- agree with everyone else but always easier said than done.

smartie-strange how we had to have ours sent of. Wish I knew how I had done know

  • Good evening everyone  We've been so busy, I've not had time to post :o Got lots done - my lists as well as socialising with friends :T

One of our best friends was wanting to make her own wreath, but was unable to find a base for it, so DH offered to make one. We went and cut some willow from the river bank, and he's made her the most beautiful ring. The wood has a greenish tinge, which adds to its charm. She's coming over next weekend, and he's going to help her dress it :j

I believ that this week's list is done, so I'll post that, and see you all on the next thread :D

    ooo
    just had a fabby declutter..

DD has had a new shelf put up for DVDs and came downstairs with The Wizard of Oz, which. for a guess, my mum gave her for xmas once. Well it's never been watched - not even out of the cellophane. Probably cost mum £5 as a stocking filler.
Bunged it upon Amazon priced to sell (£25.00 - some were £34.99!)
and it sold within an hour...
Think I'll send it recorded to be on the safe side.

That's good news! And while you've got them up you might as well invite a few other people round to see how nice it looks :D

Fire has got going again, so maybe the chimney has warmed up and/or I'm getting the hang of it. I'm going to try to use it as much as possible between now and Christmas so that I can get it worked out. I must ring up and pay the final installment too - I'm surprised they haven't chased me! The landscaper hasn't sent a bill (or a re-quote ) either.

List update in a mo... I think I've finished it all...

ETA - well done Valli... I hope your DD is spending the profits on a nice christmas present for you... I really wish one of you ebayers lived closer to me, then I could get you to do all my stuff (for a decent fee, obviously!) rather than charity shopping it all... still, hopefully the charity shops do well out of it. Do you think the hospice shop that's getting my other stuff would like my fireplace?!
