Monday ~ Kitchen of Grot and Dining Room of Gloom
Star please Toots:D:D
Must get our bedding in the DW or it will be sleeping bags tonight. Clean washing has been sorted into iron or not and put away but now dear old mount ironmore is beckoning .
Tonight I must sort boys bags, uniform, pack their lunches, pinch DHs sat nav, and check the cheques match the amounts I have before I seal them in the envelopes. Clean shoes and boots. Shower the littles and re-make their and our beds. Or I could just lie on the sofa with a glass of wine and watch Victorian Christmas and run round in a mad panic tomorrow .'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Think I may have discovered what is giving me a rash (thought it was a bug or heat rash) - they seem to have changed the recipe on the Lenor fabric conditioner I always buy (summer breeze) as I noticed it smelled different when I put it in the machine today, so will have to hunt down another one that I'm not allergic to.
sexymouse xx
This might sound weird but have you tried a cheap hair conditioner (obviously one youre not allergic to). It does work, as does fabric conditioner on your hairDustykitten wrote: »Where has the day gone it is dark already!
Thanks ladies for all your suggestions re DD. As most know I have tried everything including the bin bags when she was younger, she got to the stage where when she tidied up she would black bag everything and hide it in the attic . She has had far too much stuff in the past and has got past the toy stage now so most will go. There is a whole box of Bratz dolls that I will junk amongst other stuff.
She is very creative and lots of the mess comes from 'making' stuff but Christmas although it looks like a lot its mostly bits and pieces.
Other than the 1 game there's nothing to 'play' with. So long as she looks after the bracelet then I'll be happy.
Ok I have rounded up and sorted washing, machine is on, sorted DD's wardrobe and rescued the 'clean' clothes from the floor and put away.
DH is getting ready for work having wrecked the kitchen which I will tidy in a bit when I get something for DD and myself. For once I am not doing a full roast for the 2 of us.
Have decided that this week instead of doing a new list I will concentrate on the remainder of this weeks as otherwise only the same rooms will get completed (especially as they are the easier ones)
Right off to sort out food as so far today I've had my brunch and eaten 2 bars of chocolate, a bag of crisps, a kitkat type thing and another choccy wafer thing and 1/2 a bag of popcorn washed down with copius amounts of teaMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

I was out for just over 2.5 hours, and the fire was still going when I got back. Hopefully it'll be OK when I've caught up on here and gone back down! Didn't get round to buying sugar, so that's another one for tomorrow (I've only got soft brown sugar in the house, no good for what I've got planned).
For those of you who are interested, this should be the cake (I get confused as to which ones to use on photobucket!)">Bother... it's come out sideways... I'll try to fix it later...
Kazm - I think you're just going to have to take stuff away if she isn't looking after it. I know you've been through this loads of times with her. I wasn't particularly tidy as a child, and as an adult, like most people on this thread, I've realised that the less I have the easier it is to control!
Me - it sounds as if you've had a pretty rough time. Hopefully things will settle down soon, and in the meantime we're here if you need to vent or want advice. As Jojo said, tell them you've ebayed it and take it to the charity shop. Or if your DS is broke, maybe he can do a deal with his grandparents so he does the ebaying and gets 50% of the money?
Better find my list and see what else I need to get done today...0 -
