  • Evening everyone

Not had a chance to get on here today until 8.30 and have been doing stars and catch ups since then!!!

Joiners arrived at 9am on the button and I am now the owner of a lovely hall floor - it looks better than i could ever have imagined - they also put the skirtings on so it all ready for the painter to do the last of the painting - fingers crossed it will be done by tuesday - but if not wednesday i think.

After a slow and freezing cold morning - door was open again -after lunch i decided to go to town and see the Black Watch soldiers' parade - they have just returned from Afghanistan and Perth was originally their home town - their museum is in the next street to me. I wrapped up really well and I thoroughly enjoyed it they had their pipe band and the pony mascot - hundreds of people turned out it was great!

havent done much else but look at my floor!!!! and some phone calls!

Diva I couldnt see your card - this lappy is giving me problems accessing things - but i am sure its beatiful - I used to be a fairly good singer in my youth - singing in choirs and doing solo unaccompanied gaelic stuff but unfortunately now I dont have enough breath to sing a lot but i try!!! Zoe sounds like lewis is on a high from the sugar overload and additives/ E numbers etc- you need to diary all these things and use it when the divorce is in court - keep the wrapper and any other evidence too.:mad::mad::mad: dont let on to Ex that its getting to you and he may get fed up playing his games if he thinks you are not rising to it - he may not be able to have contact with you but he can get at you through the kids.
boddy thank goodness for your inside info - and yes it should be reported - if the home dont do it then you are quite within your rights to do it - the police would even help the manager catch whoever is doing it - hope it gets sorted soon because people in the home will be getting Christmas presents that could be very tempting to someone:rolleyes:

Had a lovely day with my family - gorgeous food, lots of chat, and presents to bring home! The only downside was awful traffic on the M25 meant the journey home took an hour longer than it usually does.

I'll pop in tomorow, but need to get all my school work done, yes, it got left until Sunday again...:o

    Goodnight!!

Toots... your list isn't getting shorter as far as I can tell... how about you forget about Pigpen's lists for the moment? With all that work going on there's not a lot of point anyway... you can go back to doing them when the flat is back together (you'll need to spring clean, but it should also be easier to manage!)

Must go... so much to do tomorrow... Sleep well everyone!

She'd match Noel and Peaches and Polly and Penny..

Tiddles tried it on tonight but I have decided not to be putting up with any bedtime nonsense.. they WILL start doing as they are told again.. I think most of it is my fault for allowing it to slide and then continue after XH left... Actually, I have just decided .. from now on he is to be known as KH.. (door-handle head lol).. I don't like XH.. I can't typ eit with one hand and that is all he is worth.. :p

Greenbee.. toots often has her helper do the bits off the list.. thoguh I think she could possibly reduce that list by a few things.. it is probably like my 'to-do list.. I won't be doing it all myself but it needs doing and will be done eventually.. so the list will get longer before it gets shorter!

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok

Valli ((hugs)) to you and DD x
Dusty there a squillions of cake videos out there, all sorts of cooking ones
pigpen pah why do men need to be so complicated? Doesn't he realise if he does that instead of going down 'official' channels it is better for you and the kids?
kazm what a fab present, you could get him a toy one http://toys.shop.ebay.co.uk/Diecast-Vehicles-/222/i.html?_nkw=Lamborghini&_catref=1&_trksid=p3913.c0.m24 and pop a voucher in or something ?
zoe I am with pigpen on this one, I usually hate people who keep kids away from exs but not when there is bloomin' good reason, if all that is going on that is good reason to restrict access to protect the kids.
boddy that sounds like very good advice, especially with the additional information you now have

Well DPs brother has gone to stay with his Nana so quieter here than expected. DP is actually being quite sensible about the whole WIL thing so far, he has said unless she phones to ask to see the boys/makes some sort of effort to see them he's not even speaking with her about arrangements at Christmas. As he said, it's not just about her showing off on Christmas day. She arrived back over a week ago now, back until January (yes toots :( she's back for ages) and hasn't even mentioned the boys. He said he's going to contact his Nana about visiting her on Christmas eve, unsure if that is just to annoy his mother **rolls eyes** while I go to pick up Charles (the Chameleon)

Collected DS2 at 9am, he haddn't been to sleep & his Nintendo DS had been broken (but knew the risks..) took them to Seven Stories, what a wonderful place! Then off to the Terry Deary performance (author of Horrible Histories books) then to the book signing afterwards. DSs weren't the best behaved but better than I expected. Terry Deary was a lovely guy, we got his Horrible Christmas books to be signed but he spotted DS1 had a very old one of his books under his arm, very well read of course as DS1 loves them (takes them to bed too) and asked DS1 if he could please sign that too as it was so well loved. Well DS1 was over the moon! I've been doing a little festive prep, ordered another Thorntons parcel with more chocolates that have the boys photo on the boxes, festive hamper is free over £50 so will split that to use as gifts. I have ordered a couple of bits for my Mam (she wants card making stuff) and done a list of who we need to buy for (couple of ideas too) Only problem I have now is I have just realised that a lot of courses with the OU that start in Jan/Feb have a final application date 16/12 so I need to decide if I want to start then or have some time off until September....I am unsure & I need to chase up the fact they are still saying one of my ECAs is missing (I have proof of posting for them both) which is a nightmare, if I do I think I fancy something like literature or history.

:( I didn't get back on time to get to the farm shop before it closed, they only open Fri/Sat so I don't think we are having turkey this year....I think DP prefers chicken anyway, bother. Ooooo I wonder if there is anything I need present wise with my Nectar vouchers....thanks for the idea those using points. Oh double ooo I know there is a pile of Tesco vouchers in the kitchen cupboard too.....maybe something on there for someone? Yay good idea! Will look into those tomorrow

Right bed time me thinks after I fill the dishwasher as need to wake DP at 7am **yawns** night all x x
One day I might be more organised...........
