[STRIKE]Vacuum through the rooms that need it
Wash any soft furnishings that require a wash
Collect any stinky laundry from about the place[/STRIKE]

    Level Three
[STRIKE]Clear out the toy boxes.. (or a box of guff) .. Santa wants to fill them up.. but he can't if there is no space!
Clean out any bins.. and do a binbag dance!!
Clear out a grotty cupboard!.. any cupboard so long as it is grotty![/STRIKE]
did the one under the sink and a couple of kitchen drawers and did a load of shredding to do the binbag dance
    Extras
    1. Final final shopping lists
    2. Update remaining present lists DONE
    3. Wrap remaining presents
    4. Make a timetable for christmas prepartions.. turkey in.. turkey out.. etc
Hope everyone is OK. Neighbour and DH are trying to replace the door and drawer fronts in the kitchen (the cupboards are fine but the fronts are ancient) however the language is getting worse so I suspect things aren't going according to plan.

Off to catch up with thread. Hugs to everyone who needs one.

    Good Morning to All :hello::hello:
Have had a really busy couple of weeks with one thing and another and have totally lost track on the thread and not much flying done either. Trying to read back and catch up so have been skimming as best as can.
LL – Sending huge hugs for you and think it is so wrong that you have been kept waiting this length of time but am praying that no news is good news
boddy and lil_me – my father suffered with alzheimers and we went through an awful period when he was in one particular ‘home’. He was always agitated when he was there but we were lucky enough to get him into a specialist hospital where he was much more settled. Unfortunately we lost him earlier this year so this will be the first Xmas in years where the BIG day hasn’t been planned around visiting him. Just will not be the same this year icon9.gif
froddy – positive vibes being sent for Maddy
pigpen – your posts make me rofl. Cant wait to read how XH reacts to the divorce papers
diva – thanks for the morning carols and vibes being sent for Tris – love your cards by the way.
Jue – hope all turns out ok with grandad
Rosepink – spent couple of hours tackling my oven last week but didnt get very far with it. Gave up in the end and have got some guy coming out on the 21st to clean it professionally. Have promised myself that I will never let it get into the same state again once it is done. Hope you are feeling better.
Jinky – hope things get resolved with your Mum. Big hugs being sent your way. I really dont get on with mine and what makes things worse is that she actually lives with me – long story but biggest mistake I ever made. Now get scrubbing on that floor lol – may be a while before we see you back
Hugs to anybody I have missed that need them, Birthday Wishes to those I have missed and Welcome to any newcomers also. Special Thanks to Toots, Soappie and Pigpen for the time and effort put into this wonderful thread
Well so far I have been denying the arrival of Christmas but DD nagged me to put the tree up before she went away so this has dutifully been done and I have to say that I am so glad it is up and am now starting to feel festive. DS has an induction today for an Xmas post and I am going to write lists galore today and start – yes start! – on my xmas shopping. The plan is also to get all the cards written and posted :T
Am not putting up my lists this week as I am so far behind but have done the daily necessities. Will make sure Monday to keep up with you lot and get house back into order
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints - the sinners are much more fun ;)

    Morning all

    Bright and sunny here.

DH taken DS3 to football and DS2 tagging along.

Just off to the shower and to check DS1's room - he was sent to tidy it yesterday and the laptop has been held hostage to help in the negotiations.

Want to put the tree up today/tomorrow and get the blind made too.

My missing parcel has been resent so just waiting on 3 deliveries now. Need to still get a few bits but not venturing to the shops other than Lidl and Mr M on the weekend.

    Maddy

Had a total nightmare week with laptop. Got an awful virus from somewhere and had to do a complete reinstall. Took me all week to get all my programmes back on :mad:

Am off to the kitchen to get some cooking done - been defrosting stuff to empty freezer a bit ready for all the goodies :D

morning all and as much as i would like to havent got time to catch up

babysitting today for ds1 friend ..they are having family things going ontoday so we have the pleasure of her company indefinately!

    wm x 3 ready
wm x 4 still in basket

    have washed up
    put away pots
    s/s bathroom and toilet

going to driving range later this pm
really skint so no money for anything else!
