    Morning everyone
.... and we love you for it Soappie of old :p

    And I love y'all back ....

soappie, I think regardless of the extreme boredom you need to look at the positives, especially that you are getting time & breathing space to write....wohoooo @ festive time in soappie house, I need to start that here :S

Oh, I am looking at the positives Lil-me, and I am enjoying the extra time to do the writing. With a bit of fair wind, good luck and hard work the first rough draft will be finished by Christmas day. It's just occasionally I need to vent and this is the only place I can do that really - you people are so good at listening...

Zoe - glad you've got your baby back xxx

Nice cards Diva - well done you! I think I might have to start making my own. I was looking at cards when I wandered into Tesco yesterday afternoon for the standard household stuff like loo rolls etc. There were none I wanted to buy. I'm off to the villagy part of town in a bit to the butchers etc. I shall see what they have there.

But, off to find something to eat and then out to shop...

You mean you didn't wait and listen to the Archers ;):p

Alternatively, you could do as I do - podcast the lot and listen when you like :p

Everyone is out until lunch, so I'm making pork bones into stock for a lentil and bacon soup, then moving the stuff from the dining room back into the newly decorated sitting room :j Off to find a list and some enthusiasm

Just sorting out a new photobucket account so I can keep my real identity separate from my MSE identity and still share my cake pictures with everyone :D

    Woooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooo :j
I had to get up at 2 this morning :( to go to the airport.
I got home around 5.30, and was wide awake
So, the upside of my insomnia, is I have written my Christmas cards :D
I am just off to the post office, to get them sent, along with a parcel, to send and one to pick up.
I am very tired now though :o... so I may have to have a quick kip when I get back in, to see me through the day...
I havent got anything planned, other than pottering around the house anyway.... so I might even get a little more flying done :D

Frodders : thoughts for Maddy xx

A happy Saturday thought for everyone else :D
I will be back later to update my list.

I don't think there's an Oxfam down there, but there are other charity shops - I'll see what they have...

    Morning all

Just decluttered breakfast of croissants and tea (picked up bag of 6 for 15p last night, and they're really nice), so I've got to get organised now.

    Plans for this morning:
    DW
    WM
    get washed and dressed
check if butcher in next village has sausages left - apparently they're legendary and I fancy a casserole
do stuff from this week's lists while DS1 tidies his room
finish decorating DS1's room as soon as it's tidy

Second cuppa first, though. I'll update later. Hope you all have a good weekend.
