Just popped on to send massive hugs to LL - it's getting really difficult walking around with my fingers, toes, legs, arms and anything else crossed! Continued love and healing vibes for you xx

Boddy - massive hugs for you too....you must be so worn out by all of this. Much love to you and your mum xx

De.N - sorry I missed your birthday. Hope you had a lovely day and extra birthday wishes for being late xx

I've had a lovely day. Shattered now and need to sleep but will be up early in the morning for some s/s and finish putting decorations up.

    Hugs to everyone xx

Boddy - thinking of you - and it's reminding me of 'issues' we had with muy grandma, who had alzheimers and 'lost' no end of stuff when, supposedly, being cared for.
When she died I couldn't cry because it wasn't my grnadma who'd died IYSWIM - my grandma left us long before...

    Froddy
    - vibes for Maddy

I can't moan about this - in the grand scheme of things it's nothing, but I now can barely read posts without my specs...won't be mush longer before they're a part of me 24/7
I have been TOTALLY unable to read the T&Cs of DS's phone contract. They're in a tiny font, in grey and even with specs I cannot read them.

Just finished wrapping up all the presents to take with me tomorrow - just the cards to write, and a bunch of flowers to buy for my sister!

Five minutes read, and then bed I think...

Sorry Piggers they came at around 2.30 so too late to join you....gutted.

No worries.. I ended up in tesco until 2pm as it was so never got anywhere myself. Got myself a light up snowman and some new baubles though :D

4 beastlets at God squad christmas dinner.. Tiddles got her fish and chips and ate loads.. when she went to bed she whispered really quietly... 'are those really magic bells?'

I said of course they are so you best go straight to sleep because Santa is listening very closely...

She was asleep in seconds!! lol.. It was really lovely just having time with her on our own, we don't get that often.

She fell at school so has a very sore knee.. hopefully it will feel better in the morning. She told me all about her new teacher.. who keeps telling her off for her 'accidents' and makes her sit in the 'naughty chair' for 'all day' and miss ALL her playtimes! (think 5 minutes on the thinking chair for slapping someone who didn't do as she said!)

We also had a look at the cyst on her finger it doesn't appear to be bigger but is very sore she said.. though she won't be able to write if she has an operation on it.. middle knuckle of middle finger on right hand.. ho-hum.. she'll still be off to school lol

XH update.. apparently *giggles* HE is going to a solicitor straight after New Year for a divorce.. *giggles again*.. Go for it tw@tf@ce... I won!! Apparently I can't ask him for any money for anything for the children or the house and I have to get a job 'like normal people' .. yeah.. cos everyone can get a job for 4 hours a day during school hours that pays £400 a week.. not forgetting that you can take as many days off as you need and still get paid when you have 5 appointments for the children in a week. most of their appointments are now doubled up .. DS2 and DD4 or DD's 4 and 5.. I think he has lost the plot!!

OH just took DD2's friend home... and had a major tyre blow out just round the corner from her house.. thankfully her dad is a mechanic and he has a viable spare.. BUT.. this means we need to get this one fixed next week which we really can't afford.. at least it didn't happen next weekend when we are going to his mums for the weekend.. it could have been disastrous on the motorway!

Flying... hmmm.. I tidied the middle room.. it needs vacuuming.. but the sofa was swept and the throws put on nicely and the cushions put in their right places and the toys put in the box and the discs and controllers made neat and the laundry in the basket and the rubbish in the bin..

My throat is agony.. strepsils aren't helping much either.

Boddy and Froddy.. positive healing and finding vibes coming your way.. Prayers for Maddy sent and a request to St. Anthony that your mum's things turn up!

Still no word from OH.. He won't be in the pub.. he is skint and has DD2 with him.

Off to wrap a box of pressies.. 4 down 9 to go!!

    - thank you for the weather report - I expect one at least daily, or, if possible, 8am, noon, 8pm and midnight! re the results - that's sooo out of order. Is there a patient charter or something that says WHEN results will be produced by so you can challenge them on it?

And I now declare that Tomorrow, Saturday 12th, is the day Christmas starts in the Soappie household. Those of you who know me of old will realise once that date's set, all the shopping (bar fresh food) will be done, presents organised, tree obtained, decorated and up by tomorrow night!

Soappie My weather report might not be entirely accurate for you, although I'm not that much further along the coast....but at least I tried :D I have an appointment to see my Oncologist on Monday anyway.....so I am saving my displeasure until then  I am a nurse......so know how these things should work........I can be nice until someone pi$$e$ me off......& they have now ;) & yes knowing you everything you have planned will be done by lunch time tomorrow :p

Had a lovely evening watching tv with DS1&2 - they were taking the mick out of Jamie Oliver, loved the victorian christmas program too.

LL - huggles for you, I can't beleive they are keeping you hanging on so long for your results, it's worse than germy dermy on X factor (not making light just trying to make you smile not cry :p)

Boddy - hugs sweetie for you and your Mum, you sure are some daughter, mother, gran and great gran x

    Hi,

The biscuits for the tree didn't turn out like i planned. They were star shapes with a circle cut out of the middle and a boiled sweet put in. The sweets melted and leaked everywhere, the whole tray is covered in it and the biscuits are stuck fast. Me and my great ideas.

Been there, kids tried that and they turned out like yours :p

Hex - ooooooooooooh very excited are you coming to visit:T Monday afternoon is fine by me - pm me a time, my first flylady visit:T
