You mean you didn't wait and listen to the ArchersI'm in Holly - I can vac the DR now that The Now Show's finished

Yup... text me and I should (assuming I'm paying attention!) be with you in about 15 minutes. Check you've still got my number before you leave home... actually, I'll PM you as you may well have had my old work numberfroddington wrote: »greenbee - not heard that anyone else is planning on coming; am happy to try the pub in Sutton Scotney. Shall we go with the plan of me texting you once I'm finished at jacksplace?
Baby in pram cake pretty much finished. Just have to either buy some liquorice for the wheels and handle, or think of a creative solution instead. Oh yes, and put the ribbon round the board, work out how to keep the thing safe for the rest of the weekend AND how to transport it... I'm sure I've got a box with extenders somewhere... hopefully it will fit.
Prayers & vibes for maddy, and for L-L's results on Monday :A
Suppose I should find my list, reply to one last work email, and then go to bed... I suspect my list will tell me I have lots to do this weekend :rolleyes:0 -
Good evening all,
I'm so glad it's the weekend - the last few days have just been mad. From my list yesterday I managed:
sort copying for clerical assistant for Thursday morning
phone parents x2
finish marking Y7 assessments 2/3 done
give my beautiful birthday flowers/plants fresh water
remind DS2's teacher about Christmas card list and thank her for sorting transfer details out so quickly (e-mail)
e-mail SENCO from DS2's old nursery - it was thanks to him that he got the support he needed
wash hair - decided to wait until I got to the hairdresser's
sort tea for family
draw out money for hair appointment and meal
hair appointment at 5pm (take DS2 with supply of toys and snacks)
be ready for lift around 7pm
post flylady cards
take car seat to friends and install in their car - DS1 took it down
Not bad, I think. I was at the hairdresser's for an hour, which left me with little time to get ready, so no flying other than putting a new sheet on DS2's bed.
We had a lovely meal at Cafe Rouge in Sheffield, overlooking the peace garden/little Christmas market with nice lights. We also saw the big wheel around the corner. I've really got to take DS2 to see it, but I'm not sure we'll actually go on it. Depends on the cost, too.
I was a bit worse for wear this morning and had a madly busy day at work. Glad to come home. Shopping done and urgent stuff to be put away as soon as I've posted, then off to bed.
DH is in Skegness until Monday, so only the kids to consider. I'll post tomorrow's list when I get up, I think.
Good night, all.

Boddy and Froddy.. positive healing and finding vibes coming your way.. Prayers for Maddy sent and a request to St. Anthony that your mum's things turn up!
Out of the blue this so made me think of my mum who passed away 11 years ago. She always 'had a word' with St. Anthony if she really couldn't find anything (promising to light a candle in church if it worked), even though she wasn't at all religious. She was convinced it worked and would always make a point of paying her 'debt'. She didn't go to church, but loved travelling and sightseeing, so candles were lit if she went anywhere special. Thanks for reminding me of this!
I think I better declutter this place first before bothering a Saint, though...;)0 -

It was. She was very special and it took years until I could talk about her and not end up crying. She'd have taken one look at this house, rolled her sleeves up and saved a suitable comment for later...:o0

Actually, I think you may well be surprised - no, I don't think, I KNOW - you'd be surprised at how low brow and subtle and sweet I'm being
I've actually surprised myself....
However, the number of .um. stern emails to various council people about various issues in the last few weeks has increased somewhat! After all, one does have to have an outlet
excellent..good for you..was only joking..but I judged you'd take it in the spirit it was given
It really should be bedtime for me, DH is polishing off some rose, I had one drink at lunchtime which is ample at the moment
Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
I have just finished typing up a letter, making a passport and covering a box for our santa's 'elf'(who is a snowman!) only found out about it the other day, so going with the 12 days of christmas thingy!!! Snowy will be arriving tomorrow morning after brekki and im looking forward to it!
frodders, i've popped a card in with yours for maddy that the children helped me make, jaimee-leigh has included maddy in her prayers tonight.
piggers, thanks for the advice chuck, it makes mucho sense. I never even thought of him thinking i would send him away. The constant food needs make sense also, however one thing i am still getting my head round is the fact that seconds after eating a big meal and desert he sits down...and states he is still hungry?! The one thing that is getting my goat with him is the fact that jase is a bully/or bullying him and i have ruined his life.....hmmmm i am seriously wondering who he has got this from. The biggest problem is that ex has laid off jaimee now as she just tells him to shut up and leave mummy and jase alone/or stop being so horrible etc....we think because o this he has started 'working' on lewis as he is more impressionable. What am !!!! your ex is, what planet are men on seriously? one of the kids dads favorites when i used to ask for half the money towards shoes etc(bearing in mind he was getting child benefit for lewis, me for jaimee!!!!!!!!!!) was...'errr, no, you've got a bloke, let him pay for it'
:O OMG!!!!!! i couldnt believe it honestly! How very dare he! Jase, bless him, does everything for them, he pays their upkeep, he should not be expected too however! Although he is more of a father than that !!!!!! could ever be.
Ok rant over!!!! We had chippi tonight! was yours goooooood?Mmmmm
erm....who else? Ahhhhh
Toots- im not doing anything! The children, my neighbour and the carers are doing it all. Oooo and jase when he is here! All i am doing is sitting flat and making pretty glittery things! but MWAH fankoo for thinking about me
Everyone else huge hugs and loves!
breaking news of the night!!!!!
i got my baby back, i got my baby back!!!!!! whoooooop.....awwww she seems so lovely and novel now! not annoying and whingy! should send her to nana's more often!!!
Right, going to try and sleep pffffht! xxx0 -
Hi all, just popped on to see if LL had the results ... looks like that's a no..what a nightmare to keep you waiting all over the weekend.. Sending you lots of hugs.
Sending vibes for Maddie too..
I'll pop back at some point tomorrow with some lists ( once I've done something to cross off them!!)0
