I'll be a snob if you don't mind....... my car is not chav, its boring and I don't want to be associated with stupid people that are lazy and dress badly and have nothing better to do than stick plastic spoilers on their cars, drive badly, play terrible music at full volume, can't speak properly and claim benefits rather than get off their fat ar5es and work for a living.

Hyacinth Bucket, someone post a picture.

That is vaguely more preferable to some thick twit dressed in burberry that can't speak, spell or drive their bucket of pus.

I'd rather be in my boring unchavvy Focus, be able to read a book with long words in it and hold an intelligent conversation and capable of earning a living and owing nobody a penny.

I like driving something that looks different from the norm but still looks smart.

To me, a Renault Clio with lexus lights banged up bodywork and tiny little pock marked alloys is the ultimate chav.

Chav cars = bangers that they have tried to make look better on a budget of about 50p.

Not sure the police would be too happy about the spacing on that number plate...:D

If you fit the following criteria please come clean & rejoice.

1:You own or drive a ford focus YES - Y REG
    2:your a female YES
3:Its a automatic ( may accept a manual if you still have your burberry cap) No its manual, i have a burberry scarf tho
4: Your names julie ( or similar).
my name starts wiv a J and i live in Essex

I will embrace my inner chav, my first car was a saxo (my brothers - corsa), i am scrappin the focus and hav just got a new fiesta.
One good thing about owning these chav status symbols is they do seem 2 sell fast and ive never had comments like "urgh wat did u get that for".:T

Oh Mini Bear don't let the side down............

Your Focus wasn't a chav car and certainly your new fiesta isn't - unless you are on benefits, wear a baseball cap round the wrong way, spit in the street, the crotch of your trousers is around your knees, you can't spell and you don't work, the boot of your car is crammed full with huge speakers and you drive down Southend seafront 'cruising'.... can't be that bad surely?

I drive a blue Fiesta ST, with ALL the stripes... however it's fun to drive and I never lose it in Tesco's carpark...! Did contemplate having the landing stripes taken off but everyone I knew (of all ages!) said leave them on. Last car was a -tastefully done - 05 clio with tints, 17" alloys, clear lights and twin (one each side, both working) Wolfrace exhausts. I did say I wanted a grown-up car after that but it never worked out once my OH got involved!

Am now more than embarassed as everyone will now think I'm scum and I do pay my taxes, honest!

I don't think any of that makes you a chav - for one, all of your grammar and spelling is correct.. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Secondly, you pay taxes and therefore, work - and I have a feeling in my water that you are honest!

Thanks jeannieblue, if only people who tried their luck with me on the roads could see that - have had nutcases try to race me with my mother in the car - seriously?! Sometimes you have to rise above it...!

jeannieblue, I am sure you are not a chav, your much to posh.
But the Focus, along with the corsa & the saxo will remain chav favourites.
