It's evident to me that people don't know the difference between a "chav" and a "boy racer".

Chav's can't afford a car, they steal one or they resort to uninsured and untaxed monkey bikes, mini moto's or quadbikes.... Usually without a helmet.

Boy racer's just buy crap cars and put big spoilers on them.

They're two entirely different people.... Although neither are very pleasant.

Quite a few Chavs have quadbikes around here, and unlicensed scramblers. The other Chavs stick to Corsas, Saxos, old Scoobies (probably cut and shut jobs or nicked), and all manner of 4WD and vans.

MG ZR is one of the chavviest cars out of the factory IMHO since Rover (an MG ZR is a Rover 25 underneath the plastic) went bust all the young barry boys have been buying them up like hot cakes, its like Halfords bargain bin.

I'll agree with that statement, and that's words coming from the mouth of a Focus ST owner (albeit mines not Asbo Orange). Majority of the MG ZR's I see hooning about are now barry boy specials.

  • A neighbour has a 2004 Golf with an illegally spaced number plate and a "screw" to make it spell something else.

    "y l.ORA X" Took me a while to decipher it as Y10 RAX !

And yes that is a lower case "y" on the plates!

    Ultimate Chav.

Would love the police to crack down on this more, seen some moron with a private plate starting with an L, who had added an additional 3 black screw covers to turn it into a E, there's no justification to do that at all; other than to decieve,
  • The corsa and saxo are thee biggest chav cars of them all! especially when the sales been on at halfords and they come out with hideous body "styling" and a soundsystem big enough to run a concert

Did anyone see the Road Wars episode where a guy was stopped for having bits of masking tape across his plates, making an 0 look like an 8, on both plates? It read something obviously wrong like MU82 ABC. He then claimed 'some kids have been messing around.' Yeah right, so you weren't doing it to confuse the ANPR cameras at petrol stations at all...
