These were my two cars...
1. 2002 Corsa 1.2 SXi. Had it for about 2 years and did a fair bit to it.
OK, you could argue that it is chavvy, but I still think it looked quite smart and I always keep my cars very well.
2. This is my current car. Skoda Fabia vRS, tuned to 175bhp, Audi TT front brakes. Roll bars. Coilover suspenion. Pocket Rocket that is £120 to tax and does 55mpg on a run.
I like driving something that looks different from the norm but still looks smart.
To me, a Renault Clio with lexus lights banged up bodywork and tiny little pock marked alloys is the ultimate chav.
Chav cars = bangers that they have tried to make look better on a budget of about 50p.0 -

I'll be a snob if you don't mind....... my car is not chav, its boring and I don't want to be associated with stupid people that are lazy and dress badly and have nothing better to do than stick plastic spoilers on their cars, drive badly, play terrible music at full volume, can't speak properly and claim benefits rather than get off their fat ar5es and work for a living.Genie

I really dislike modified cars. If you want the sporty model, buy the sporty model, but basic models woth platic bits on that were never on that model from the factory are horrible.
The only accessories on mine are a magnet on the dashboard for my phone & garfield (sucker version) in the back window:o0 -

I agree to a certain extent.... I am a fan of the OEM+ style of modification.
I went a little further than this on my Corsa so it did verge onto the chavvy side.
However with the Fabia I feel that the modifications I have done are more in keeping and it really looks, and performs, like it should have out of the factory (It is the top model).0 -

OEM?
I think the problem is when its a basic model with plastic bits that were never intended for that car:rolleyes:0 -
