Is it "my debt" or "our debt"?

We have a joint account that we budget together. Both incomes go in, and all the mortgage, bills, food, going out etc.. come out of it. We have a miscellaneous budget for each month but we would never buy anything large (say more than 15 quid) without discussing it together.
For birthdays/xmas we allow ourselves a set budget and use our personal accounts to buy the gifts from (so gifts are a surprise). The personal accounts are left overs from our student days and only get used for this at the moment (and some juggling with paying annual things like car insurance in one go with the interest free overdraft to save money). When we married a year ago we both had small overdrafts from being students and getting married and we paid both of these off together, as if they were joint debt. Now we just have the car loan which we'll have paid off in a few months. While that is in my husbands name I wouldn't consider it purely his debt, as we both benefit from having the car (even though I don't drive). His student loan though is his debt, and since it is repaid through his wages then I don't consider it mine in any way.0
